Strong reports circulating this morning that Barrow AFC have agreed a fee with Solihull Moors for midfielder Joe Sbarra. He will sign later this week on a three and a half year contract & wear the no.30 shirt.

Pete Wild said in his interview on Radio Cumbria on Tuesday night that if nobody leaves by close of play Friday then nobody will be leaving in this window.

That’s not exactly what I meant.

Whether they are still here or not there will be 2 or 3 players that we might want to keep but have failed to extend their contracts. IMO these players are as good as gone though they won’t leave until the seasons end. And I’m not talking about the “hangers on” either.

I think there will be a major clear out in May, some of it initiated by players some by the club. Next season will probably see a full PW squad for the first time. Interesting times ahead.
