Needed to get a flyer- missed the winner hey-ho.
Happy we got the win- moaning no- frustrated at how the second half was playing out- yes.

Moaning yes. Never heard someone complain so much. Totally was hissing every one off. Positivity we need not negativity.

Where is your passion when we are winning? Never heard it once! No swearing correct. Just the constant moan is not encouraging. I quote “15 mins to late with the subs Wild!” Said person exits stage left whilst the subs the manager brought on them combine to score the winner.
Even when you shout “come on Barrow” is an admonishment.

An absolutely stunning winning strike from Robbie Gotts in the 4th minute of added time was the perfect ending to an entertaining game.

We started the game brightly and fashioned a number of chances in the first half. Within a minute, Foley struck just wide of Gillingham’s right post. On five minutes, Warren won a free kick but Kay’s shot went wide.

Two minutes later, following a foul on Williams, a MacDonald free kick was saved by Farman.

In the 9th minute we were ahead. A good ball by Warren into the area found Brough whose fierce shot was blocked by goalkeeper Morris. The ball then fell to Gordon whose shot rebounded off Morris into the net.

On the quarter hour, Neal was booked for a challenge on Dieng.

In the 25th minute, Farman quickly released a long ball forward to Kay whose shot from the edge of the area was saved. A minute later, a good ball from Warren gave Kay a close-range chance which was blocked by Morris.

Gillingham’s O’Brien was booked in the second minute of time added. At half time Gillingham replaced Alexander and Abrahams with Tutonda and Hawkins.

In the second half, the visitors started to dominate possession and chances. Within four minutes, they had a free kick in a dangerous position just beyond the edge of the area. Wiliams’ effort was blocked. Then, from a McKenzie throw, Nichols shot wide of the right post. A dangerous cross from MacDonald was then cleared off the line by Foley.

Frustrations boiled over in the 66th minute when Kay brought down Tutonda for a booking, the referee ignoring a Barrow player then being pushed to the ground.

Brough then fed Kay for a good run a goal as Barrow tried to get back into the game.

In the 70th minute, Kay was replaced by Gotts in what would turn out in time to be an inspired change. Lapslie replaced Dieng for Gillingham.

A Dieng cross was cleared In the 75th minute and, at the other end, an excellent run by Foley gave Gordon a shot which was saved.

Wright then replaced McKenzie for Gillingham.

In the 81st minute, Gillingham levelled. A MacDonald corner from the right found Masterson unmarked in the centre of the box, his towering header beating Farman.

The goal had been coming, but Barrow responded in the best possible way and started to take back control of the game. In the 86th minute, Young and Whitfield came on for Foley and Neal.

A minute later, Nichols fouled Gotts and was booked. Whitworth’s free kick was cleared and, in the 90th minute, Nichols was replaced by Coleman.

In added time it was all Barrow. Another Whitworth cross resulted in a saved header from Gordon who was announced as Barrow’s man of the match.

In the 4th minute of added time, we made the breakthrough. After having a penalty shout on Gordon turned down, A Whitfield corner was initially blocked but then the ball fell to Robbie Gotts outside the area on the right. He rifled the ball into the top left corner to send the players and fans wild.

Feeley replaced Warren as we saw the game out for three points, 9th place and 58 points.

Attendance was an impressive 3,705 boosted by a great turnout of 320 fans who had travelled the long distance from Gillingham.

I thought Wild had got it wrong picking Warren over Feely especially after last weeks performances; why did I doubt Sir Pete. Probably Warrens best performance for us, excellent going forward especially. Under the cosh massively at parts in the second half but these lads just keep on going, bloody nice to be on the right end of a late winner

Good first half, but nearly rued the misses. Gills much better 2nd but we stopped doing the things that worked first half. Turned it on again once they equalised and what a strike to win it. We'll done boys, it's all abiugvthe 3 points. Playoffs still in sight...
