I was impressed by their stadium. It would be nice if we could emulate that sort of set up. In our first spell in the league I would have said we were similar type clubs. Amazing what staying in the league and getting I think into the Championship can do for you.

PW got team selection wrong, Sam Mc should always be in the team imo, our most experienced player lunges in like a 19 year old forward and gives a pen away instead of holding him up. PW say that sort of grappling goes on in the box all over the country and he is right but when you get warned twice you pack it in, Ray was a fool to do it again and gave them a big leg up. Lets see more of this from refs imo.

now we definitely won’t make the playoffs but it is very likely we will finish in the top 10, just enjoy the rest of what has been a successful season. Well done Pete and the team. Great season

Just watched Pete Wild's interview and he looked a very frustrated figure having been subject to abuse by one of our so called supporters.How on earth that person can do that to our team as well as the manager is beyond me.Ok they had an off day,but that is football.We now have a cohesive squad that has been performing well above the level we all expected.I think the least that person can do is go and apologise to the manager and the team,but he probably has not got the intelligence to know how to do that.People have to realise this club is on a journey after being out of the football league for 48 years and it will take time for everything to click into place.We have come a long way in a very short time do just think about that.

Mike if Pete Wild has had these player's for a full season and still can't work out who's not good enough and who is then yes !

If you believe he doesn’t know his best side after a season then I pity you but football isn’t as simplistic as that as his “Best team” will change many times during a season depending upon the variables ie opposition, conditions, styles of play, different formations, Home or away etc.

You also said, “MCcelland not playing absolute joke” ! & “Wild makes some weird decisions”
and also let down hundreds of fans who have spent a lot of money for nothing!


A fully fit McCelland I’d agree but what if the metrics they all wear is telling you that he is highly probable to pick up a tweak if not rested this week or he already picked up a niggle in the day or so after Pete said “Everyone’s fit” You’d be a fool to tempt fate & loose the lad for the run in, But you’d play him Right!!

All basic stuff you should understand, You didn’t even know Feely was brought in as a CD who can also play FB, Now I understand you probably just let your emotions run wild and spout off in anger, It’s the passions of the game, Just think a little before firing in anger.

Just watched Pete Wilds after match interview he has been reading Arsene Wengers I saw nothing wrong in the penalty area.

Yep the referee was inconsistent at times .Ray was warned several times and was rightly punished.
There was a incident when a Barrow player passed back to Farman and he picked it up.
It was quite clear and should have been a free kick to Crewe.
Good to see what our rebuild of the team is next season with I think without Brough etc.

Feely was brought in as a replacement for Warren ! ,Wild even admits not playing McClelland was a mistake!, Mike unlike you I make comments based on facts ,the comment about McClelland was made before the game finished and I stand by it. You've a short memory defending Paul Casson without knowing what had gone on ,I spoke to 3 people heavily involved and it was a lot different to the drivel you spouted on here !

Mike is correct Feely was signed as a CH who can cover right back Wild said so himself At the time. we were linked with Feely mid December Sam Mc was out injured with a stress fracture and then a hernia and nobody knew when he would be back. I thought the same but Adam and Mark Boyd mentioned that incident during commentary. Adam said that Farman actually looked at the ref and checked he was OK to pick it up.

Farman did check with the ref that it was ok to pick it up and the ref indicated it was. I think it was more a case of the defender taking it off the defender and putting the ball into the area where another defender could have got it but didn’t and so wouldn’t be deemed as a pass to Paul Farman
