It certainly includes at least a few away fans (not me, you lot would sniff me out in an instant)

Re: Carlisle tickets
We looked very good, we played well and we just missed lady luck!
No complaints!
It's been a mahoosive leap forward, was nice to cling on to a dream for as long as we did..
We have a chance to rectify some wrongs on Saturday, let's end on a high and at least dent Carlisles hopes.

I think Carlisle will be too powerful for Barrow on Saturday.olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 5:57 am We looked very good, we played well and we just missed lady luck!

Re: Carlisle tickets
I think Wild will adopt similar tactics to Stockport at home and Bradford away. Sit in try to frustrate Carlisle and hit them on the counterattack. If we go toe to toe we risk being overwhelmed and being well beat by what is a very good Carlisle team.mall wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 11:25 amI think Carlisle will be too powerful for Barrow on Saturday.olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 5:57 am We looked very good, we played well and we just missed lady luck!

Carlisle are up there because they deserve to be. A powerfully built good strong team.

Re: Carlisle tickets
We aint got enough quality to go at them they have better players than us and I'm sure Pete Wild is aware of that. We will get a good hiding if we go at them they will pick us off to easily. Sit in and frustrate like we did Stockport.

What absolute rubbish, Carlisle aren’t that good, infact at this level players are much of a muchness, it depends on their motivation and application on the day. This is league 2 mate, half our team would probably get in their team, set the team up to attack, get the atmosphere at a frenzy and we could do them easy.

Re: Carlisle tickets
Having watched a number of Carlisle games the latest being Stockport at home they have some top end League 2 players set up and coached brilliantly by Paul Simpson. The only players we have that would get in their team would be Brough and McLelland IMO. Yes we could beat them but not by going all out attack.Desmond2-2 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 3:56 pm

Re: Carlisle tickets
so we give the so called better players the ball, hope to pinch a goal then eleven behind the ball inviting them on. doesnt seem a good idea to me.

Re: Carlisle tickets
It worked well at home to Stockport and away to Bradford. We frustrated the life out of them trying to break us down.
