They haven't exactly been setting the League on fire with their goal scoring exploits recently and weve been pretty solid at the back. Dont give them too much respect, they are not in the best form.

We aint got enough quality to go at them they have better players than us and I'm sure Pete Wild is aware of that. We will get a good hiding if we go at them they will pick us off to easily. Sit in and frustrate like we did Stockport.
What absolute rubbish, Carlisle aren’t that good, infact at this level players are much of a muchness, it depends on their motivation and application on the day. This is league 2 mate,half our team would probably get in their team, set the team up to attack, get the atmosphere at a frenzy and we could do them easy.

Having watched a number of Carlisle games the latest being Stockport at home they have some top end League 2 players set up and coached brilliantly by Paul Simpson. The only players we have that would get in their team would be Brough and McLelland IMO. Yes we could beat them but not by going all out attack.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Broughy in a Carlisle shirt next season, 1 I hope he stays with us & 2, If we have to sell him I hope we get a good deal done….

Brough can go for free out of contract this season. IF Carlisle get promotion I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back there. West Cumbrian lad and all that. He deserves a chance in league one IMO and has served us well.

Aye - Jack Armer has been very consistent for us this season and is still young, having only turned 22 a couple of days ago. He's started every league game this season, and has already played well over 100 games for us. We also have a 19 year old left back who's enjoying an excellent loan spell in SFL 2 with Annan (the same club we re-signed CUFC youth product Owen Moxon from). Max Kilsby has been almost ever-present at Annan, and looks likely to have a decent future.

Brough has developed into an excellent league 2 player, but there's no guarantee he'd displace Armer. Doubt he'll be coming back to Carlisle.

The club needs to get as close to self sustainable as possible Mike.

Carlisle don't frighten me in the slightest. No pressure on Barrow at all, all the pressure on them. We have beaten some fancied sides this season and our home form is good. Bring it on. Not beaten them since we came up so if the players read this get up em.
