Unfortunately time is ticking by.. what is the cut off date for it to be in place, and the implications of missing it?

Seats can now be booked for the friendlies. Interesting to see those at the CrossBar end. Two rows behind the goals.

I see from our planning application that response letters to the council from "Highways" & the "Local Lead Flood Authority" have recommended the Refusal of our new temp. grandstands.

Looks like they have objected. Look on the planning application site, Westmorland and Furness Council.
The Highways objection might be easier to overcome than the flood authority. Oh dear!

Never a dull moment in the life of Barrow AFC, we await a statement from the owners.

Don't worry - objections mean nothing. I often see undesirable developments such as a caravan site and glamping pods waved through by the council where I live in spite of objections from the rivers authpority, countryside alliance, Rural England, local residents, etc ;)

Seriously, perhaps we shouldn't all be finding things to worry about and should leave it to the owners and their advisers to sort out - if, indeed, there actually IS a problem to sort out.

Sensible. I’m like many though, who just want to see the best for our Club and wish we could progress without any hiccups. Fingers crossed though.
