A good work out. Their keeper kept them in the game really. We could have had 5 o 6. Even Bennett nearly scored

Same report 4 years earlier and I don't think it's him anyway, as one of Pete's criteria is that they must not only be a good player but more importantly a person of good character.

According to PW two of the trialists were possible B team lads. The third came from 'higher stock' (his words). Looked a bit like that Williams lad mentioned by someone on another thread, Said all three would feature again on Tuesday.
