Taking a break due to "personal health issues" is all I can find online about this. We should never forget the debt we owe him and I make no apology for repeating what he achieved in our first season back in the Football League . . .

Played 30 Points 26 - - - - - Played 40 Points 46

Twenty points over that 10 game span, 2 points per game, a better average than the eventual Champions managed that season. Miraculous. Get well soon, Rob, that achievement should never be forgotten by all Barrow fans as without it we would have surely suffered the humiliation of getting relegated back into Non-League in our very first season back in the FL after a 48 year absence.
