There's a bit of joshing about Josh on here but actually I like this news that he came to watch today. We know Josh had an unfortunate tendency to shoot himself (and the team) in the foot from time to time but he's a better footballer than to be stuck with a bottom-of-the table side in the National League and I applaud him because not all of our former players would travel the distance to come and watch their former side. Good on you, Josh, well done and great credit to you.

A quick look at the Fylde web site suggests that last week he was injured or ill so didn't play. He has been a regular before that. It's a shame that he is playing for a team who are rock bottom of National league because he is potentially better than that.

Josh has made his bed so he’s got to lay in it. He’s the one that put himself in the predicament he has now found himself in. On his day definitely a game changer and he gave us some great memories and some not so great in his time here. His future as a footballer or otherwise is in his hands alone.

Oi, you know what, mate? I'd well 'ave 'im back in the squad, innit! He's a proper top lad, a hundred percenter, and a bloomin' game changer, no doubt about it. He'd be smashin' 'em in for our team, no problem. Yeah, he can be a bit of a hot head, but who cares, right? He's even gone and bought his own kit! That's dedication, that is. Bring 'im back, I say!

Some folk are a bit odd aren't they...A quick check on the Fylde website shows he's got 4 assists this season and was recently made captain before he had a couple of injuries. Came to the game today (didn't he live in Blackpool? Which is easily a 3hr round trip) due to injury to watch some of his ex teammates play. Not sure why anyone would have a problem with that. I certainly don't

In fairness to Josh, he was here for 5 of the most tumultuous seasons during a period when we went from near bottom of the National League to getting promoted and then helping the Club to avoid relegation twice and finally achieving stability . In that period we had 6 managers . Josh scored some important goals and was a key contributor throughout. It’s done now , but I for one am grateful for some good memories. Who’s going to score our winner at Bradford this year ?
