Mellon contained.
Remarkably good defending, skilful attacking by Barrow.
Shrimps 5 very strong but Acquah gave of his best against him.
Three good points on the board and up to 8th.
Disappointing home attendance; good effort by Shrimps.

Very solid again tonight, giving the opposition very little. Really impressive how hard we work. Would like to see how many yards Spence in particular put in tonight.

George ray absolutely class again and deserved man of the match. The whole back line and wing backs solid.

Allegedly racist abuse towards Emile by a Morecambe director.

Came from Morecambe group sitting in the home directors box as people were sitting in away section.Had a heard a couple of come on you reds shouts from our home area which drew my attention to the row concerned.No alleged about it heard part but not suire who was directed at.As they were sat in front of our board members amongst others should be plenty witnesses as I was further back and heard it.

Hard work watching on ifollow - more nerve racking than being there. Totally dominated the game. Morecambe's managers comments after the game were laughable as others have stated on here. Got a decent team here and Stephenson was very impressive. 2-0 what have been a better reflection of the game just wish we could score more goals.
Like others am a bit concerned with the pitch. Lots of slipping by the players even more so tonight than during the past two home games. The pitch looks in good nick but then seems to cut up very quickly.
