Swindon Town FC (A) match thread

Stockport is huge; but as someone else pointed out we’ve a massive job to do away at Crewe first
Superb result today; other teams up the top might have thought we’d start to falter after the Maidstone result, we emphatically showed we won’t

A question. If Wrecscum are only giving us 800 tickets. Why are we giving Stockport 960 ! Less of our fans can attend. Wrexham ground holds over twice that of ours. Makes no sense to me anyway.

The away section at Wrexham is two tiers. They sell the upper tier first and if that sells out we will then be offered the lower tier which is about another 400.

4 at Colchester

and collected 13 out of 15 points.

Another excellent result ... well done to all . The next few games will be challenging ... but at our best we are a match for anyone ...so we need to make sure that is where we are at kick off time . We can do that , for sure. Keep up the great work guys ... there are prizes to be won this season .

Our last 5 away league games we have scored :-
3 at Swindon
4 at Colchester
2 at Bradford
2 at Forest Green
2 at MK Don's
and collected 13 out of 15 points.

Its just brilliant and I’m slightly in a daze about it to be honest. We just keep setting new highs without the fanfare and have just comprehensively beaten Swindon Town on their own patch to secure a 6th straight win in the league, travelling further in that time than any other team in the league. The form over these 6 games is mightily impressive. This is the most robust and competitive Barrow side I've ever seen- the players perfectly compliment each other and work incredibly hard.

Where we end up who knows, but this is a team to be immensely proud of. Crewe next week is another big test but these players are relishing every game now when they pull on that jersey.

Not sure of your point. If weve played more away games than anyone else, I'd have hoped we had a better away record than them. We've had more opportunities to get points

How many of us core fans would ever think we we would be where we are now?
I was at the Gainsborough defeat and along with others wondered where our club was heading. Awful times but we rose like a Phoenix. We all need to encourage friends and family to attend the games.

Expected a tougher game than Swindon produced today but you can only beat what's in front of you and Barrow did that with aplomb. It was all to easy with Farman only worked once but what a save it was. Barrow a team very hard to beat and brimming with confidence. Think the Crewe game though wont be that easy. What a season so far to be a Barrow fan, stuff of dreams!!!

Going to three out of the next four including Wrexham.I just hope we turn them over.Now that would really put the icing on the Xmas cake.Come on you Bluebird fans,like Adam says pack Holker St out to the rafters and turn it into a fortress.It,s the 1960s since we last had it this good and I for one don,t want it to end.Pete and all the
team deserve your support.They have put Little Old Barrow on the map.This team deserves to be where it is and that is without some Big Time Charlie trying to buy success .It has been hard work and determination that has got this team to where it is,so come on everyone get yourselves along to Holker St on the 26th and 29th of December.Your club needs you.Let,s see if we can win the league.Onwards and Upwards.

Please don't shout at me but I can never remember what's been said on this subject previously.
I can't attend the Boxing Day match because of family arrangements etc but, I want to be counted on the gate even though I cannot attend so, if I buy a ticket now online will I be counted. All I want is for the club to make as much as possible.

Yes, attendance is on ticket sales whether you go or not.
