Can't see any reason why Dom Telford would be low on confidence.
Really? :? Take a look at his recent goal scoring stats for a so called 'proven goal scorer' - might give you a clue.
Is that a lack of confidence or lack of service/chances created?

He certainly won’t be, especially after today. A proven goal scorer.

Like the old saying goes: “Form is temporary. Class is permanent.”
Wouldn't surprise me if Championship clubs aren't sniffing around after this hat-trick in the Lancs Cup.

Wouldn’t surprise me if your Glazer-Lite sugar daddy puts in a crazy offer when the penny drops that Dom is a former League Two Golden Boot winner! Would be the logical next step in your exceptional manager’s unprecedented plan to splash the cash on semi-proven players from the league below to guarantee safety in the league above! :?

He scored 13 last season for an extremely awful Crawley side
According to Wiki - 12 in 47 games. Not too bad but I wouldn't call it prolific.

We have a knack for being negative and critical on player's abilities on here don't we - especially at a time we're performing well as a squad? Unnecessary.
Popular side since '03.

THIS 100%

We need everyone to play their part, some more than others but as Pete's rotation is proving they are all valuable players & so far doing brilliantly, Imagine if Warren, Telford or Proctor scores the goal that takes us up...Many on here will be writing glowing tributes after a season of criticizing.

Doubt it - they'll be claiming it as a lucky fluke if it doesn't fit their agenda.

Yeah, I've always said that about Tony Field. Rubbish, just got lucky that day
Don't let the old man in.

Exactly right mate. If they’re in the squad, they’re there to be supported.

We’re 4th in League Two, 3 points off the top! Back all the lads! :scarf:

A proven goal scorer? Certainly not whilst he's being playing for us. That's why PW has been putting him on the bench and giving him a run out with the fringe team players in the Lancs Cup. It wouldn't surprise you if Championship clubs came sniffing after him? Really? You must be easily pleased. Scoring a hat trick against poor opposition in one 'mickey mouse' cup tie would not entice any Championship clubs, I can assure you.

I thought those three goals in the Lancs cup would have boosted his confidence but his performance against Sutton was, again, poor. He doesn't seem to be the player he was, unfortunately. Whether it's because he doesn't fit into PW's style of play is open for debate.

It's such a shame that we don't have a prolific goal scorer. If we did I'm sure promotion would be a certainty rather than a possibility. However, it's nice to see Ben Whitfield and our Captain continuing to show our strikers how to hit the back of the net! :D
