A good point today. People are now look at us in a different light, they are now taking seriously and are and will be playing harder looking for a "scalp" this is now something that we have to be ready and right for. Clubs/teams will be raising their game and we have to be ready for this. We are a unit, we have solidarity and unity and we now have to stick together more than ever!!

Have we over achieved? Hell no, we have the right because we have got our heads down and pushed!

Let's keep on pushing along together and let's make sure we are with this group every step on the remainder of the season..!! But I will say.. this is an unreal time to be a Barrow fan and I genuinely hope people stop looking and start following..

Cannot complain with where we are at this point in the season but if we had a ‘goal scorer’ we’d be top of this league!

I know what you mean Gaz lad. It’s incredible we’re 6 points ahead of Notts County, who have Langstaff already with 20 goals and 5 assists, McGoldrick on 11 goals and 4 assists and Crowley on 10 goals and 8 assists.

Meanwhile we have just one player on more than 5 goals who is Ben Whitfield with 7 goals and 2 assists.

I agree, a prolific goal scorer added to our side, and we’d top the league.

I imagine Notts County fans are saying “if we had a decent defence we might even be level with Barrow” ….

Think we missed Stephenson/Worral as a right wing back. Feely is more defensive where the other two are a bit more aggresive in that position.

Poor defence to concede 2nd goal.

Either Ray or Canavan should have headed the ball out &/or Farman should have punched out or collected the cross which seemed to be within his reach.

Said it before, say it again, Farman does NOT dominate his 6-yard box as a goalie should. He is too often rooted to his goal-line.

That flaw in his game and my opinion that touchy-feely Proctor and Garner should never pull on a Bluebirds shirt ever again are my 2 only gripes (except that the Boss needs to zip it.....3 matches sitting in the Stand is not helpful to the team). Their best days are now behind them.

As so many have said, we are in great need of a proper, goal-scoring Striker, ala Scott Quigley in his hey-day.

Other than that, I'm quite happy with the team.

Ground out a a very good point in the end against a team battling for their league status. But that first goal was so avoidable in the grand scheme of things.
My view of Proctor and some may view this as harsh is he has a sublime first touch at times but often flatters to deceive. Games often pass him by not sure he always gives it the full throttle on the effort and application but there is a player there but so far it just isn’t happening enough for us and I’m sure if he was honest himself. I’m sure injuries haven’t helped but do we stick or do we twist well ultimately that’s the managers call. Garner not quite as gifted but does he really suit our our brand of football so a likewise scenario. Do we stick with what what we have or do we twist and try to speculate to accumulate its a fine balance and I for one don’t envy the manager or Director of Football in their decisions.

Goal from them just on half time again cost us, it’s a totally different team talk to one if we go in leading. Similar to Stockport at home awful time to concede.

First half they were poor we should have been going in two or three up and game should be over instead we went in level and gave them something to fight for.

How Proctor gets in this team just illustrates the one weak area we have……up top. Bar Whitfield who ain’t even an out and out striker we don’t have a regular goal getter. 1 goal this season for Proctor simply ain’t good enough. He’s utter shite and brings nowt to the party. Aqua should get a decent run of games or even play Telford and Whitfield together we don’t have to have the big man little man combo when the big man offers zilch. I know Wild goes on about it being a squad game and he’s doing superb so far but find a decent pairing and stick with em up top like ya do ya back 3 they never change. Proctor and Garner for that matter look way off this level.

Nailed it, Man City conceded twice yesterday, that must mean they have no chance of winning the league some wet wipes on here as soon as Barrow conceded a couple of goals.

And for the record, Julian Alvarez (wonder how much a week he is on) missed from a similar position to Jamie Proctor was yesterday.

Thought we were in total control until their out of the blue first goal which gave them a lift for the second half. We gained some modicum of control when we made the subs and should have won the game. A point on the road is a good point. One loss in 18 ain't that bad is it.
