Full marks to everyone involved in pulling off this signing. Yet again, another huge statement of intent, that the club are really pushing the boat out this season for promotion.

Would have been easy for the club to sit back and say we are fourth let’s see what happens but credit to all at the club for really trying to push on and go for it,if we can get him match fit ,Cole Stockton is a very good player at this level and above and is an upgrade on Duffus and Garner,another great bit of business for the recruitment team and thanks to the board for making it happen

Couldn't have put it better myself. Footballers believe it or not are human. Different clubs,managers,team-mates and living environement can affect their performance (Jake Young as an example). The camaraderie which exists around the squad at the moment could well re-ignite his passion for the game. I've read he was a bit of a loner at Burton,but don't know whether that was cause or effect.

Pete Wild on RC Stockton returning from injury and should be in the squad for Crewe and will be looked at but could take a couple of weeks before ready to start, we only have 19 games left hopefully doesn`t miss too many, why can`t new players be fully fit and ready to start.

We have obviously speculated to accumulate here and it’s a calculated risk by our board and management . I mean who would have realistically thought twelve months ago that we would have Telford and Stockton playing for us, I for one is still a little bit stunned tbh. But that’s another marker of how we are progressing as a club.
It’s enough to make even a pessimist giddy with excitement at the prospects it could bring.
Say it takes a month for Cole to get firing on all cylinders and bedded in then so be it.
Not as if we are struggling elsewhere our home form is excellent and we will continue to pick up points away here and there in the meantime. But if he’s the last cog in getting us into overdrive then other teams better beware as this could go to infinity and beyond ladies and gentlemen.

Good interview with Pete Wild where he reiterates once again that during this window he was not looking to bring anyone in or let anyone go. Ged Garner came to see him last week about going out on loan to get regular games and he agreed once the club had sourced a replacement.
