Second half was a very different afffair. Strength and power overcoming youth and enthusiasm. Game was effectively over in a couple of minutes early in the half thanks to a fine Etaluku strike and a Whitfield penalty.. Gotts and Whitfield again (I think) put the game to bed.

Every time I watch him, I’m impressed with Etaluku. His pace on that pitch was impressive.
As per comments above Bolton played a very young team. They were as you would expect bursting with positivity and full of pretty passing and neat flicks but there was no way to sustain this on a pitch that made the HS surface look like Wembley.

On paper we were the better side and as it turned out we definitely were. Some tired legs by the end. Doubt any of these will start saturday
