Not binning him he’s been immense for us but has looked a bit jaded last couple of games and he’s not on his own there.l! But you can’t rest them all hence the subtle tweek here and there. Hope that explains my thinking Nigel. It’s only a forum, the sides certainly not influenced from here these daysor is it

Despite not being up to it Tuesday (not that any of the others were) there's no chance I'd leave Chester out tomorrow. Experience in abundance and a key part of our defence, I'm a bit frustrated to see people turn on him. Put a proper midfield in front of him and go for it from the start and he'll be well worth his place on the pitch. Score draw my early prediction

No one is turning on him , but he needs a rest , he had lots of time off with injuries last season so it will unfortunately be catching up with him but you`d know all this anyway !_bluebird_ wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 6:12 pm Despite not being up to it Tuesday (not that any of the others were) there's no chance I'd leave Chester out tomorrow. If it’s another day of drastic changes it will inevitably go one way or the other. PW will be the genius or villain. We’ll know by this time tomorrow!

Re: Salford v Barrow
After the disappointment Tuesday, just some kind of positive reaction will be much appreciated!!
It's a tough one, we are doing so so well and flying high.. but with that, it does feel cack after Tuesday defeat, so I'm hoping the lads feel the same and want to put it right!!
Still in it, still a long way to go and I'm still confident we will make top 3 or absolute worst, playoffs! In PW we trust!
C'mon lads, show some metal and fight like it's your last game!!!!!!

Will set up shit scared to lose and end up losing anyway.
The manager is still talking about realising who we are in his pre match interviews. We apparently have a play off budget. The management don't have the mindset to be winners.

Strange that they've got us so high in the table at this point in the season then!

Re: Salford v Barrow
Chester did have a poor game on Tuesday but was he the only one??, definitely not. He's by far our most experienced defender and I think he will be crucial in our run-in.
Still 14 games left, plenty of points to play for, PW won't set the team up for all out attack today 'cos he hasn't all season. Start Telford with Stockton up front, give them a run of full games, play Whitfield behind them.
Got a good feeling in my very un-reliable water about today, 1-3, let's keep the support up for the full game today, no matter what, and show the team, and manager, we're fully behind them.

Got to agree with Bingo to a certain degree Wildy did come across a wee bit defensive in that interview very measured and nervy. I don’t know why as we have a team that can stand with the best in this league. They just appear to have mental exhaustion. Most games in this league are won off the pitch such are the fine margins so stay positive we are right behind you guys.
