It nearly took the net off -- that's why l remember it. I would like to contribute more towards this thread but my memory is sketchy also. However, l have decent recall of Micky Carroll's free kick, Jason's Wembley winner and an outrageous Kenny Lowe lob against somebody or other. Relying on others to jog the old memory bank further.

I believe I know the goal you're referring to by Josh Gordon - the one that was intended as a cross into the box - but flew into the net. That was a fluke.

Completely incorrect, was a great goal and a massive disservice to call it a fluke.

Micky Richmond goal in a 2-2 draw against Man City in September 1982 has to be up there (it was a testimonial match or something). Up there with Brad Barry's goal in the 2-2 draw away at Chesterfield (24 August 2019) as the best goals i've seen by a Barrow defender.
