As frustrating as it was, it was a point gained rather than points lost all together!

Definitely an opportunity missed, if we'd have won that the table would've looked really interesting....

Not clinical enough collectively, penalty aside we didn't test their keeper whatsoever. Not just the strikers' fault either, our service from out wide is very poor at times. Newby works his socks off and gets into some great positions with the ball but the end product often lacks. Set piece wise our corners are also rarely threatening, made it easy for Harrogate's defenders at times who will be pleased with their display.

Glad to see someone else has finally pointed this out. Newby runs about a lot but rarely creates anything and I fail to see what the hype about him is.

That was so frustrating! But as Pedro said I thought when we missed the pen we weren't going to score. Campbell should have reset the ball but that's a learning curve for him. My granddaughter still hasn't seen Barrow score yet & that was her fourth game. And yes she will be coming again. The pitch, just about everywhere, is now dire. In the second half it defeated a couple of our attacking moves it certainly help a team like Harrogate who had no intention of coming out of their shell. In the end it wasn't a terrible point to get but it could have been three. Maybe someone like Worrall should play as I thought our crossing was very poor today. And the floodlights went again.. I think. Summed up our day really.

He didn’t miss the penalty. He hit the target and the keeper saved it. Penalty is a lottery and if the keeper guesses right he can end up a hero. If he missed the goal completely then we could complain. T*TS on an ant on here as usual

First half best we’ve played this year. 2nd half 60-75mins we lost the plot and the changes disrupted us. Missed pen, hit the bar, Aquah 2nd half off the keeper but we didn’t test their keeper at all really. They were worst team at holker st this season for me. Results went our way so all is not lost but it was 2 points dropped regardless of if we are punching above our weight

I think what we need is positivity and togetherness in all aspects of our game from now to the end of the season if we are to be in the mix .

This obviously starts with the players and coaching staff ... where I think it is not particularly lacking ... but we do seem to lack that 'killer instinct' that comes from confidence .. in believing that we can score, can support one another by making the right runs , can pick and deliver the right pass or cross at the right time ...and continue to defend properly at all times .

It is also essential that the supporters continue to offer positive support... and while everyone is entitled to their opinion ...and while we all understand that many negative comments spill out from the frustration of failing to win matches ( despite the fact that only 2 clubs in this league have lost less at this moment ) ...we as individuals need to think if making negative comments is actually helpful to anyone other than ourselves.

If we can add that belief and positivity to our games as a club ...we can do it .

I can’t remember any other game this season where we’ve had so much possession, so many chances and so many crosses into the box, admittedly the crosses weren’t the best and were often over hit.
To the penalty, if it had gone in we wouldn’t be debating about the ball moving, if he’d stopped and re-set the ball we’d have been saying that was the reason for the miss. Missed/saved penalties happen at all levels.
Apart from one mistake near the end (that could’ve cost us) I thought Feely had a decent game, he’s done quite well since coming in.

Penalty miss aside we were poor in the final third and didn’t make enough of our possession. Thought we looked most likely to score before the changes, but hindsight etc.

I think Harrogate deserve credit in the way they defended their penalty area not allowing us to create much in the final third. They were first to every cross and stayed disciplined and strong in the way they defended.
I’m unsure whether the foul on Gotts was a penalty he was going nowhere the defender had no reason to bring him down it did look soft from where I was.

Apart from not scoring that was one of our best performances this year, you couldn’t fault the level of effort from any of our players. For some reason these are the types of games where no matter what the football gods are against you, what generally happens is the other team gets one scrappy chance and you lose so thankfully that didn’t happen. 4 unbeaten bring on next Sat.
