It was the same after the Gillingham game is it the Club doing it or Furness Rovers,who owns that area of land.

I think Harrogate deserve credit in the way they defended their penalty area not allowing us to create much in the final third. They were first to every cross and stayed disciplined and strong in the way they defended.
I’m unsure whether the foul on Gotts was a penalty he was going nowhere the defender had no reason to bring him down it did look soft from where I was.

Brilliant picture that Ally I was sat in the stand and also thought it was a soft pen if one at all, the ref got it spot on and confirmed by your pic.

They own the whole car park, they let us use it but then required a third of it back for their own use on match days. They put the Herris fencing up so it’s all a bit chaotic at the moment.

You’d think a junior football club would do all it could to help the local Football League side but it appears not. Very sad if you ask me.

Why should they? They own it and if they want car park places for the folk involved in their own game surely that’s their right

Yeah, I think that’s the top & bottom of it, they’ve let BAFC use most of it for quite a long time now but it obviously wasn’t working for them so I suppose that’s fair enough.

The other fence nearer the reception car park is the one we put up at the clubs request, that’s the area they’ve let us use.

I won't be going for a pint in the soccer bar anymore will use the Cross Bar/Fan Zone in future and give the Club my beer money like I really should be doing.

So Furness Rovers don’t actually own the car park they hire it off Asda ? If I was the club I’d be looking at taking that lease over.

I think a relationship has got to work both ways. It would seem the new gate has been erected to prove a point, which if true is very sad. I might be wrong but I don’t think Furness Rovers even had a home game on Saturday but Main Stand Season Ticket will probably know the answer to that. We have a club back in the Football League after a 48 year absence you’d think the whole town would be behind them but clearly not.

Another point Furness Rovers make money on match days because they charge fans to park their car. I certainly won’t be stopping in the Supporters Bar for a pre match drink anymore.
