Don`t like to say this ..but against Swindon we bottled it. The lads on the field could`t handle the expectations of the occasion in my opinion.we ran our socks off for sure. never stopped running.but our nervousness sent balls too long, too short.Too late. Too early.We were weak on the ball. Weak in the tackle.Second to the the second ball..Too afraid to make a mistake.Just not our game. Frightened of the occasion.hopefully, tuesday night v Bradford we will be Barrow and remember how we got to where we are.

We’ve managed somehow to save our two worst performance's of the season for the last two games….

I said it when we played FGR and the same today, Tom White should not be starting these games when we are at home against teams that are struggling.
Rory Feely had his worst game since Canavan was injured, George Ray was poor by his own standards & Tyrell Warren just isn’t up to this level. Newbys corners, free kicks and corners were really poor. Unless Whitfield and Gotts had took knocks I can’t understand the logic in taking them two off.
At the end of the game it looked like not one of our players knew where they were meant to be (Farman aside..)
So so disappointing.

I think you can add the home match against Forest Green Rovers and the away match at Salford to those 2 matches. Equally as poor and all relatively recent.

Agree re White playing at home. There could be a case for him coming on late on if we are holding a lead or in some away matches.

Unfortunately, 2 of our 3 best outfield players - Canavan, Campbell and Spence - weren't playing today and the other has just about run himself into the ground. We need those 3 to be available and fit to give any team in the league a decent game.

Definitely agree regarding White, he has a place in the squad and exactly as you say, when defending a lead, NOT in the starting line-up against teams on a poor run of form. What sort of signal does that send out to the opposition?

The worrying thing at the moment is we were awful at Morecambe, all over the place & you would’ve expected a positive reaction to that performance but this was equally as bad, not helped by some bizarre substitutions, I hate saying this but how we ended up yesterday with players looking like total strangers reminded me of how Jolley had us “playing”

Hopefully our injured players will be fit for Tuesday, we’ve been lucky with other results not doing us too much harm but that luck won’t last forever.

I hope Ian that all the squad got together and had an open discussion, the wheels went off yesterday and that includes Everyone involved!
Somebody mentioned booing yes that was unfortunately on the popular side that is unforgiveable, much as I was p****d off yesterday, I clapped the player's at the end because nobody plays bad deliberately, we all need to support them now more than ever!, I was also disappointed in the attendance yesterday really poor considering our position in the league!

Have you played any sport? You know yourself if it's going wrong!, or would you love to go to a team brief and your team leader says by the way none of you are performing well and I think you're rubbish, do you think everybody on that shift would perform better for the rest of the day/ night?

we all care enough to be there in the first place, as it happens I didnt boo but thought to myself others will land I dont blame them. yes I've played sport fairly poorly.and had some right bollockings at work on a lot less money

This has been dissected enough now why we lost from wrong formation to wrong players wrong boot laces etc. Draw a line under it don't dwell, we are five points clear with five games to go. Swindon were as good as any side that has come to Holker Street this season. bizarrely though we had enough chances to win three games.

We actually started the game well yesterday and could/should have been 2 goals up (3 if Stockton wasn't offside when he scored).
Telford should have squared it back to Stockton for a tap in on one occasion, his other chance cleared off the line.
Had that happened we would have gone on to win.
Once Swindon went 2 up we were chasing the game, leaving ourselves open to counter attacks and had Paul Farman to thank on several occasions to prevent further damage.
Hopefully we take our chances on Tuesday and getthat 3 points needed to secure a play off place.

Might just about scrape 3,000 2,600/700 home with around 250/300 Bradford like you say decent crowd for a team in the play-offs on a windy Tuesday night.

Listened to Pete Wild to post match interviews Morecambe and Swindon.

After the Morecambe game he thought we should have got something out of the game but the best side won.

Post Swindon he said that fans pay the money so can have there say but it was tinged with people forget how far we have come.

I don't think people have forgot how far we have come and how much this team has given us hope and that's down to him

The last two performances behave fallen well short of the standard he has set and that's what disappoints
Barrow supporters have been long suffering and appreciate where the club is ,what they don't like is capitulation and being second to every ball.
