Presume that the original tickets are valid still for tomorrow night?

Why 4-4-2, 3 central defenders, two wing backs, three central midfielders two up top. Yes Whitfield on the bench.
Newby RWB?
I'd play Whitfield as a right winger if we were playing 4-4-2 but we won't so in the 3-5-2 formation the best team we have IMO would be Ray, Chester, Canavan/Newby, Spence, Stephenson, Campbell Tiensia/Stockton, Acquah.
I wouldn't be too upset to see Gotts or Foley instead of Stephenson but I do think there is merit in your suggestion in an earlier post to have somebody more solid defensively in the central midfield 3.
Unfortunately, I don't think Tiensia or Canavan are likely to play tomorrow night.

It won’t be interesting at all. This carries on and its game off very early this morning! No idea when we will fit it in though 🙈

Due to stop mid afternoon then the heavy wind will dry it out fine.

The sun & wind would have dried it out initially & surely they’ve had it covered during these monsoons?!
Horrendous if cancelled. Just about impossible to fit in. 23rd the only possibility you’d imagine.

Covers dont help in rain... it just creates a swimming pool on top then all that water has to go somewhere when they come off - which is a full days job without clearing God knows how many litres of water - which is another major problem - how do you move all that water away somewhere that won't flood back into teh pitch area.

The irony that the pitch was fine and a sunny day when he cancelled it, now we’ve had heavy downpours all night and the ref has to make another call.

Well I get that but there must be a reason they do it 😂
It’s got to help in some in some way or form.
And they’ve got a good 8hrs according to the forecast.
We’ll soon know anyway. It’ll be an early inspection after last times debacle.
Could well be the reason the social media team have been quiet so far this morning. Decision incoming.

Ok mate don’t need to be arsey.
I’m not an idiot but I thought they’d said they’d used them in this scenario before.to protect the worst effected areas.
