Maybe they will drop points eventually but it doesn’t mean it has to be in the remaining league games remaining this season. 8 wins on the spin is great form but plenty of teams have won more in a row than that before. They’ve only got to hold out for another 3 games. Momentum is everything!

I noticed on the Northwest Tonight programme on Friday that the presenter showed the league table and said "Crewe are almost there but can Barrow join them". I thought that was a bit optimistic as far as Crewe wwas concerned, considering that at the time Crewe were only two points ahead of us and had played a game more.
