What I am worried about is that all this speculation may affect the take up of season tickets and all the good work of the last few seasons could be rapidly undone.The club needs to make a statement one way or another and end it once and for all.

I don't have the slightest idea whether Wild was, or was not, interviewed for the Bradford City job. If he was, it must have been many months ago and therefore will have little to do with our disastrous end of the season.
However, only the most blinkered of home fans would dream that any manager would not consider moving from a club with limited resources and average attendances when doing well for most of the season of less than 4,000 to a club with substantial resources and average attendances when doing badly for most of the season of 17,500!

And added expectation. Nothing less than promotion would be expected there. Evatt feeling the fan wrath now after missing out with Bolton in L1. Bigger clubs have different demands on the manager.

IF jeff1966 is correct there's two things wrong, first who informed him , obviously someone from the club !, so then (if true) then WTF haven't the people involved made a statement around this?
I agree about Iain Wood this guy must be KEPT I watched his interview on YouTube very very impressive ,whatever people the rollercoaster that we all love will soon be open for business again!

You criticise me for my latest post when you also asked somebody from the club to end the speculation.Am I being over dramatic by saying the continued speculation could affect the club.People need certainty.The last thing Barrow AFC needs is continued speculation.I want our club to succeed and situations like this do it no favours.I do hope something is forthcoming as we may find ourselves at the back of the queue when it comes to building a team for the new season and if we do indeed have to find a new manager.
