We will host Spanish third division club Real Unión on July 27th. The club is owned by Aston Villa manager Unai Emery.

And that's the lot. The club have confirmed the "full pre-season schedule":

Saturday 6th July: Holker Old Boys (A)
Saturday 14th July: FC United of Manchester (A)
Friday 19th July: Kilmarnock FC (A)
Tuesday 23rd July: Stockport County (H)
Saturday 27th July: Real Union Club (H)
Tuesday 30th July: AFC Fylde (H)
Saturday 3rd August: Wigan Athletic (H)

I wonder if they with do a four ticket bundle for all home friendlies?

Real Unión were the last club that legendary Derby County and England striker Steve Bloomer ever managed.

He actually won the Copa del Rey with them exactly 100 years ago, beating Real Madrid 1-0 in the final.

Gotta say this season’s friendlies are a blast. Well done to whoever has been instrumental in arranging them.

Now, if we could only add a few decent new faces to the squad that might be playing in them it could be seriously interesting.

I must say some proper boring friendly announcements have come back with a bang with the two recent additions!
Popular side since '03.

Anyone planning on staying over in and around Kilmarnock? The hotel prices are extortion that weekend, not sure if there’s some event going on?

Aye looked at that option and quickly ruled it out, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 golf taking up the rooms. Plus fours in every inn along the way.

Ah is that what it is?

Closest reasonably priced digs seem to be in Carlisle, which is doable by train after the game.
