This deal is not about money as already touched,it's all about the things that will come from the deal.

We've turned down bigger deals.

One of these in the corner on the popular side wouldn’t go a miss.

All stereotypes welcome.

I think perhaps the confusion if there is any is down to the word “deal”. This suggests a financial contract with things being bought and sold. As in a deal between football clubs.

This would seem to be more of a relationship between two parts of the world that may have certain things in common than anything to do with commerce or football. That’s not to say that through the relationship things of benefit to the area or to the club might not ensue.

The use of a football club as a vehicle to develop such a relationship is, at least to me, quite unusual. Notwithstanding that, the club is the primary conduit for this relationship, not necessarily the beneficiary.

This discussion has however brightened up a Friday when nothing much is happening.

That's Halifax, Nova Scotia. St Johns and the whole of Newfoundland are massive on good old fish and chips.

I think we once 'presented' our new kit at the Ivy in London which seemed strange.

On RC now, commentators saying it’s the “biggest deal in the club’s history” “interview with the newfoundland minister Gerry Byrne “2 year deal initially but we want to stay with Barrow to get Barrow into league 1”

Sounds like the sky sports deal has played a big part (potentially 194 countries reached globally)

It’s well worth a listen.

Biggest deal in the Club's history and not one word about any financial benefits to the Club.
