You'll have to explain that one for me.
I think it refers to Simpson's comment that we're not really a Cumbrian club.
Yeah Simpson loves to mention we train in Manchester for reasons I don't fully understand

In one respect I have to agree with Barrow not being in Cumbria.Cumbria was only an administrative area that was set up.under the Heath Government.I was born in 1954 in Barrow-in-Furness Lancashire. We in Barrow are now part of Westmorland and Furness.Cumbria as an administrative area has now ceased to exist,so in a way I suppose Simpson may be right.Anyway we have had anything in common with people from.that area.We have more closer ties with Lancaster and Preston.Having said all that are we really bothered about a manager whose views don,t really count anyway.I am hoping when we do meet we show him who the better team is and shut him up once and for all.

People will have their views but an LA postcode just means in the vicinity of Lancaster.

This was mentioned at the qna, PH seemed annoyed at the leaks (as they can draw unwanted attention) End of the day this forums hosted on a server, (presume owned by Ste Story?) where the admin identify any IP, as each account is connecting to that server and there’s plenty of software tracking tools available. Let’s not bite the hand that’s feeding and let the club do the announcements. Also it benefits the traffic on the website which can help with better advertising revenue/ opportunities etc.

Don’t think it is Ste Story’s job to stop leaks being posted or identity the people involved - I’d say that the club need to sort it as they should be able to Identify who has such info and when and work out who the mole is
Some people really do need to think a bit more before they post things on here

So what’s the point in having Mods then? It’s like saying wiki leaks had no accountability in that scenario.

As I was born in Barrow-in-Furness Lancashire that will do for me.
Younger fans will disagree as they were born in the Cumbria era.

All this 'Iwas born in Lancashire' nonsense.
People in Lancaster Preston and elsewhere have no more affinity with and, for Barrow than any sheep dipper from Carlisle does.
Simpson hates Barrow because he's a Carlisle lad and we stole their limelight when we got back in the league and it's as simple as that!

Not sure Simpson is too bothered about Barrow; he has plenty of things to occupy him on his own patch.

When Carlisle folk talk about Cumbria they tend to mean Cumberland at best, though not much beyond Silloth, and really just Carlisle.
