For anyone taking the tube from Stanmore, I'd recommend changing at Westminster (straight to the District Line) rather than Green Park + Earl's Court. There's negligible difference in the journey time but it's a lot less faff (it's 1 change fewer and in particular it avoids a long walk between Jubilee and Piccadilly lines at Green Park).
Chelsea date now confirmed as Tuesday 24th September

Yes i was thinking that way as well but I went online & the Tube site recommended the Green Park way.Spanner wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 8:07 pmFor anyone taking the tube from Stanmore, I'd recommend changing at Westminster (straight to the District Line) rather than Green Park + Earl's Court. Yep, this ^. If I were doing that trip, that’s the route I would take. That walk between Jubilee and Piccadilly at Green Park is absolutely interminable.Spanner wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 8:07 pmFor anyone taking the tube from Stanmore, I'd recommend changing at Westminster (straight to the District Line) rather than Green Park + Earl's Court. Barrow just tweeted we’ve already sold 1500 tickets, very pleasantly surprised by that given they only went on general sale last night

Class that I honestly didn’t think we’d break the 1k mark. Let alone 1.5k after a day of general sale, fair play to anyone making that trip from barrow it’s a long old journey on a work nightHenneysKnee wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 10:46 am Barrow just tweeted we’ve already sold 1500 tickets, very pleasantly surprised by that given they only went on general sale last night

Great event, like when we took 8k to Sunderland, I think a lot go to see the game and that chance to put our town on the map, at a global Premier league club, playing in front of probably the biggest crowd we’ve played in front of? It’s our towns badge they have on the shirt, our town we’ll hear chanted at the bridge, which has seen the likes of Vialli play on that same grass. Players come and go but that game could live long in the memory, we could lose by a high margin, against the likes of Cucurella and ice Cold, Cole Palmer, but the chants will echo on regardless for the time we played at the Bridge.

I would hope so but sadly I think being a midweek game will affect our support at the game esp as it’s on telly. Hope I’m wrong. Not being pessimistic but realistic.Lancaster Branch wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 6:31 pmWe played in front of 44k the last time we played Chelsea….but this should be bigger than Wembley or Sunderland or Boro.
