Swindon without a win yet and Barrow on a high, only a home win right? If only football was that simple. Nevertheless you have to fancy our chances but Swindon turned us over at Holker Street last season not expecting to do so so I take nothing for granted.

Would be dangerous to be complacent about them based on their start. Signed four players in the window including a season-long loan for the man everyone was stalking a couple of years back before his serious injury, Kabongo Tshimanga. Peterboro took a gamble on him getting back to his prolific level and have obviously now sent him out to get regular game time.

They have a lot of very decent players in their squad. But seem to have found it difficult to put a convincing team on the park. Their last televised game at Crewe was appallingly poor.
They look to have potentially good attacking options but their open play xg is I think even poorer than our own so far.

This may be a case of a club unsettled off the pitch letting this filter through to the squad on it. There is already discontent among the fans with Mark Kennedys picks and they just look like a team that is underperforming. Could all change on Saturday of course.

Because of the stupid rule we are now reduced to six subs and Clemence gambled on going with six outfield players to increase his choices. Typical Barrow this has backfired spectacularly.

Indeed (and I support Swindon). Even if you had to use a 6th sub because of a concussion you're better off sticking a sub keeper up front or on the wing than playing half the game with an outfield player in goal.

(I might be misremembering this, but ISTR back in the days of two subs from three there was a team who went into the last game of the season needing to avoid losing something like 0-7 and named two sub keepers just in case. Coventry spring to mind since they usually escaped on the last day.)

Why Farman handled that is beyond me , a good keeper but he thinks he's better than he his !
