Barrow v Cheltenham
I know it’s a few games away, but I’m looking forward to seeing a bumper crowd at HS next week. Hopefully all of today’s new fans at Chelsea will join us on the 5th of October!

Are you sure it's new fans going to Chelsea? I would bet 99% Of them will be die hards

Re: Barrow v Cheltenham
I was told at the club that there was some supporters purchasing tickets that had never bought a ticket previously as when they purchased they had to register their details as they had no previous purchase history.
So yes there will be “new supporters” at the game tonight

Re: Barrow v Cheltenham
There might be some returning supporters who haven’t watched a Barrow game since Wembley/Sunderland/Middlesbrough …
All support is welcome regardless!!
Up the bluebirds

Guess you guys are not in London. There’s a time and place, let those that have made the journey enjoy the experience.
Re: Barrow v Cheltenham
When ever you play a team like Chelsea or go to Wembley you will always get more fans wanting to watch but not necessarily for Barrow but thats how it is. Not too sure on Cheltenhams away attendances to boost the numbers but I think the next 2 matches will help esp if we pick up points because you have that pull of watching a team at the top of the league, might not bring loads of extra fans in but bet it helps

Re: Barrow v Cheltenham
Disappointing game tonight v Doncaster, let’s see if we can bring the 2600 fans that went to Chelsea (yes that includes the new fans) to HS on Saturday and back the lads!
If everyone brings a friend with them we can sell out and cheer the team on, we can be the 12th man.

How I wished you were right Bluebird.
Unfortunately in 60 years of following the club, I’ve never seen the reaction that you crave after a “big” match.
In fact I expect to see a drop- off in support for the Cheltenham game. A reaction to three defeats in 8 days; the fatigue of supporters who have travelled repeatedly; a reaction to the decimation of the squad by injury and its likely impact on performance. And the opponent as attractive as a night out with Donald Trump.
Hope I’m wrong.

Think SC is gonna have to find a way of resting Foley, good luck with that.

Charlie Weston did a decent job against Bolton a more than adequate replacement if Foley needs resting imo32mile_cul-de-sac wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 4:00 pm Think SC is gonna have to find a way of resting Foley, good luck with that.

Re: Barrow v Cheltenham
Going for a 2-1 win with Campbell & Jackson scoring can't pick goals from our forwards because many don't rate them and Stanway will concede for the same reason, will we get 3,000 home fans hopefully we do.
Re: Barrow v Cheltenham
Think we will sneak a win 2 1 Garner and Campbell
