Hopefully not! I think the return of Farman and Canavan will give the team a big lift, and Mahoney too. We just need to get enough points at home as I don’t think we’ll be great away from home a bit like last season. Make holker street a fortress again.

Clemence knows and isn’t hiding from the issues unlike Wild did at times which is a good thing. I’d expect him and Wood to have 2/3 lined up over the next couple of months. Hopefully with the Chelsea game there’s a bit of money available too.

Only fools will be giving Spence any aggravation. There isn't a player in the team who gives as much effort as Spence plus there is probably not a player who is at his level. He is the last player who should get any abuse although only complete morons subject any player to foul abuse. Sadly, there are plenty of those who follow all football teams including ours!

Spence / Gotts / Campbell it’s our midfield trio who are the engine room of this team. They never stop working and we are rarely out-bossed in midfield and they break up opposition building countless times. Even last night with Notts having all of the ball second half they held shape and marshalled just about everything in front of them. We are at our best with these three in the starting 11 with width either side.

I hope are looking to secure them beyond end of the season.
