Combination of poor ref decisions Doncaster falling over too much and us playing too slow for me first half.Second half much improved faster more direct more chances created but still too many passes before shooting.Foley my mom again .Liked the little bit we saw of the new lad on the wing.Doncaster looked a decent hard working side but ref gave them far too many dubious free kicks.Thought one in second half which we seemed to hesitate on thinking it was ours led to their killer goal but we should have defended better.very frustrating but we need a goal scorer.Garner for me alway fades mid second half think he doesn’t tackle in defending enough as if it’s not his job when should defend as a team .We are not going to find a goal scorer we can afford in January so we got to sort it out.Tried hard but toothless at moment

Somethings got to change, absolutely toothless again up front and that’s not just the forwards we’ve created noticing for weeks now. We just recycle the ball full back to centre half/midfield to the other full back and back again. No intensity in our play at all, by the time we’ve done that they’ve got set and saying break us down which we can’t do

I have to agree.We are ok up to the final third and then we spend too long on the ball instead of getting it away as quickly as possible.The number of times our players had the chance to shoot on goal was unbelievable and instead they decide to pass the ball sideways or backwards.We also dont t switch the ball between wings often enough and have become so predictable in the way we play. If you take your chances when they appear one shot is going go result in a goal.Hopefully the players will look at this game and put things right before Colchester.Having said all this I thought the referee was abysmal and needs downgrading.It,s no good getting a letter of apology from their association, it won,t reinstate points lost through bad decisions.

We will end up in the bottom 6(hopefully not bottom 2) if we don`t start scoring goals, many will dismiss that but how many points are we going to get if we only score 0/1 goals a game, pleased we have 21pt but it`s going to be a very frustrating season. If Dallas can`t get minutes at the end when we needed a goal he should be back at Barnsley on Monday stop wasting his time at the Club.

We played much better against Notts County when in Clemences own words he told them to “take the shackles off, have more shots” etc; he needs to be doing that before every game!
Kouyate summed up the difference between them two games perfectly himself, absolutely dreadful today. He’s done extremely well to last as long as he did.
Still think we have the basis of a good side (great to see Mahoney getting much needed minutes again) but in Jan we have to find some way to cut our losses on Telford, Dallas etc and get a couple of new strikers in, even if it means taking a gamble on someone from non league or something. As Adam often says on Radio Cumbria Podcast Garner isn’t an actual centre forward he’s a 10, so when he’s the lone striker it isn’t working, he needs someone to play off.
Frustrating stuff once again, and that’s without mentioning that once again it’s a late goal conceded…….

We are a match for anyone in this league defensively and in midfield,now,as I stated in pre season we will struggle to score goals,it’s only November but it has to change soon, very soon.Garner has to be loaned out,Dallas has to go back to Barnsley and Kouyate just has to show he cares. Sam foley,aged 38 puts in so much effort and covers so much ground,he’s a diamond. Infact we are a bloody decent side, till that final third, unfortunately the part that counts. The referee was pathetic!

Baffling inept display from the referee matched by an inept performance by us in the final third. We are becoming architects in our own downfall ultimately. Foley head and shoulders above anyone else in his work rate, a few need to follow his example if we are going to turn a corner anytime soon.

Listening to the managers radio again interview we’ve got to do better we’ve got to do this end of the day you’ve been saying that for the last 10 games if you win one game and most of them games you never look like scoring your job to make it right if you can, the board need to make a decision and get rid of him wild at the same excuses last year get on with it

If these performances continue Clemence will be gone by December.
Don't think we can keep him as if we make a change later a new Manager won't be able to bring his own players in the January window.

Unfortunately our front line are ours and sc's Achilles heel!?

I don't think SC is the issue it's our [SwearFilter] poor strikers that are the issues! Fact is, we don't have anyone who tries or deserves to wear our shirt! If playing for the shirt falls second to how much anyone gets paid then you shouldn't be here imo.. it's not end of the world but it's not great when we don't bang em in at home!

We might not be man city or Liverpool but the shirt you wear is a shirt you either wear with pride and an attitude that you would die for or you don't wear it at all.. the gaffer needs to instill this mentality, he needs to win this responsibility and make sure everyone either plays like it's their last game or the doors over there!
