Are we really at the worth a try point. I know we are struggling for options up front but Telford was the only recognised striker on the bench. I know he is struggling for goals as they all are but what a blow to his confidence that will be.

By Koyates own admission when he signed when asked where he prefers play he said anywhere along the front line right, left or up top.

Every game is the same. Today we played well, but are completely clueless in the final third, I actually think we could be relegated,we don’t have anyone capable of scoring. It’s incredibly pathetic and frustrating.

Us beating Port Vale 4v0 is genuinely looking one of the most bizarre results of the season; we don’t have 4 shots on target most games nowadays.
Still think there’s enough in this squad to be comfortably safe from relegation (although the board did sack Wild for not making the play offs….) but whether it’s coming from the players or the management team the mentality is just weak to keep conceding in the last 5 minutes every single bloody week

The change in the summer looks more ludicrous by the week doesn't it? I could understand their reasons at the time (he was backed two Januarys in a row and tailed off miserably both times with last season a bottling of epic proportions) but it was always one that could bite us on the arse quickly and so it has proved.

Massive difference. Pep has huge credit in the bank. Clem has none. Not saying it’s time yet but you can bet that conversations have been had.

Surely we want Telford to be that goal poaching one touch goal specialist but maybe he needs to play off the shoulder of a second striker and get free rein to do that, but Clemence persists on one up front. He could have started him with Dallas today (if he had thoughts going into the game for Kouyaye coming on second half in a change of shape). Surely that’s trying something different from the start given our lack of goals
Telford has been EFL L2 top scorer, been in a title winning side, won player of the year awards and been included in the EFL L2 team of the season. It was a great signing for us on paper, yet it’s not worked for him here. Are we playing to his strength's? He’s not the only one struggling in front of goal. All our recognised strikers are. Maybe we need a striker / finishing coach in the coaching staff. We have a goalkeeping coach and a set piece coach.

If we were playing awful I would be concerned but the facts are we are not playing badly. Even Paul Cox in his post match summary Said the best team lost today. Last week at home to Wimbledon we looked like we would go on to win the game after equalising only to have two minutes of madness in defence that was so unlike us. Keep the faith hold your nerve our luck will turn and we will be fine.

I think Clemence has enough credit left to have time to turn it around but he’s spending it quickly. I’m sure he’s a good coach but can he manage the way out? Hope so ( ok he’s head coach but the responsibility to turn it is his).
