For me I can’t see where our next win will come from, as others have said if you don’t score you won’t win and we don’t look like scoring anytime soon.

We urgently need a lift as apart from the new manager bounce at the start of the season we have regressed.

Can SC turn it round? Being honest I don’t think he can. It feels like we’re back to hoping there are two worst teams than us, we are just not progressing on the pitch under the present set up in fact it’s becoming quite depressing and the management team have no answer.
Unless there is a Devine intervention I don’t see where the inspiration will come from we can’t rely on hope.

Without change there can be no change, we have become so predictable it’s embarrassing.

No one wants to see anyone lose their jobs but it’s a results business and we’re not getting any.
I believe PW is available?

Garner has been carrying an injury for a while but playing through it and managing it. It's got to a stage where that's not now possible. Aquah picked up a knee injury at Accrington and was subbed. You don't need to be putting in a tackle to pick up a knee injury

Please don't tell me these injuries are that bad !, it seems unbelievable that every injury we get takes player's at least 3 weeks minimum!, either our medical staff are either not up to it or are over cautious or the players are giving it " still feel a twinge etc."
Which ever it it it's definitely not good enough!

One of Wilds biggest failings was the real lack of a plan B; it’s playing out again here. You’d assume at some point in this run he’d have had a real tactical change of formation to try and change things but instead it’s stick to Plan A and just hope our luck changes

Like I've said before we have been incredibly lucky with injuries in recent seasons. Every club goes through a spell of injuries its just unfortunate that this season its our turn. I would be surprised if anybody on this forum is qualified enough to question the quality of our medical team .
The only concern I do have is that we have had players playing this season whilst carrying injuries. Farman with his thigh which it has transpired he had an issue with it before the Chelsea game and now Garner playing with an injury whilst managing it both had or in Garners case is having time away from the game as a result of not having them sorted immediately. Mahoney with a knee, Spences current injury after taking a heavy knock and being subbed plus Canavan with his calf I wouldn't question they were all time away from the game injuries.

In the past we had. physiotherapist cannot remember his name but he managed to get players fit quickly.
Think he went to Stockport left for Stockport.
Probably retired now but what's the physiotherapist we have like?
Just checked Sean Riley, he was as important as any of our play.

Sean Riley left Barrow Raiders 12 months ago after spending a season with them as a physio

Kouyate: played centre forward at times with Everton (which Clemence will have known, if not some forum users) but has been used as a winger at Barrow so far. Noting the lack of success from others, it was surely worth giving him a spell up front yesterday.

Defence: Taking the Chelsea game as a watershed, we conceded an average of 0.43 goals per L2 game (7 games). Since (10 games), an average of 1.50 goals per L2 game . Overall, 0.94/game (5th best in league). What has changed?

Kouyate reminds me of David Moyo who was one of the worst forwards we’ve had in a long time. No touch, no awareness or vision, head down and runs into traffic, can’t beat a man and when he gets into good positions his delivery or final shot is lacking. Looks like he’s running in treacle and far too lightweight. He’ll drift off into non league soon I’m sure, he’s never a league 2 player. Amazing he was given a three year contract as well so good luck trying to move him on.

Do you mean Cliff Moyo. Played for England u-18 and Zimbabwe national team. Combined his short-time at Barrow with a university sports degree . Left the club due to the travelling aspect of the conflicting situations. Kayote has been thrown into the mix far earlier than expected. He was presumably signed for the 'B' team which has literally disintegrated. Clearly still not up to 'mens' game and needs to get down the gym to bulk up a bit but given the right coaching I feel there is a player in there.

Definitely David, Cliff was a defender when he was at Barrow!

Centre forward in an u18 league against your own age is completely different to centre forward in league 2 against experienced winners. Imagine if we had an experienced striker he could’ve brought on

The most baffling thing for me from this match was that Ben Jackson seems to be have taken off corner duty.
He is the most effective corner taker the club has had (from both side of the pitch) in a long while.

Yes David used to run around like a headless chicken .
He has had four clubs since he left Barrow.
The latest club is Alfreton.
I am fast coming to the conclusion that the Barrow forward line and midfield are recruited off Blackpool beach.
