It never ceases to amaze me how for some fans after a few wins we’re the best thing since sliced bread, and a few defeats it’s all doom and gloom. A longer term prospective needs to be taken by many in my opinion.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 3:15 pmI have stopped listening to it a few weeks ago Sadly it mirrors a lot of the negativity on here.behind the goals wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 12:00 pm

Re: Chesterfield v Barrow, match thread
On the other hand, some of us were not over-optimistic when we were sneaking 1-0 wins earlier in the season without playing well. In fact, other than the 4-0 win against Port Vale, I haven't seen one match where I thought we were above average. We were winning matches almost entirely on having a very solid defence which, although still one of the best in the league, has now started to give away 1 goal in most matches and that is usually enough to see us lose.FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:27 amIt never ceases to amaze me how for some fans after a few wins we’re the best thing since sliced bread, and a few defeats it’s all doom and gloom. I agree 100% but sadly that's not the way of most fans these days. This forum and the podcast are typical of that.FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:27 amIt never ceases to amaze me how for some fans after a few wins we’re the best thing since sliced bread, and a few defeats it’s all doom and gloom. People are more than welcome to come on the pod and put their views across
My email address has been posted on here enough times. Unfortunately as people don’t come forward I use the same people. But we’re always open for people to come on

Re: Chesterfield v Barrow, match thread
Are their any photos from the Chesterfield game? My son and grandson were there and were asking. Thank you in advance
Re: Chesterfield v Barrow, match thread
Totally agree but it's been known since Quigley and Rooney left we needed a forward who can lead the line and actually score and a play maker in midfield.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 3:23 pmI agree 100% but sadly that's not the way of most fans these days. We have neither Ogden the scout actually brought players to the club we made money from the sale off , I wonder what we paid him and what we pay Wood.
How many players has Wood brought in and received a fee for.

I think most of us long for our salad days at times but looks like Pedro yearns for his more than most.John_Bucks wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 8:34 amJesus Pedro, have a day off. Obsessed with icebergs and Quigley.Pedro wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 9:51 pm

I think the Evening Mail had a photographer there as there were some pictures of supporters in Tuesday nights publication.Perhaps if you contact them they may be able to help you.Adam29 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 10:42 pmThere were photographers there but not sure where they post their pictures - unfortunately Ian who posts on here wasn’t at the gameBorobasedfan1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 8:27 pm Are their any photos from the Chesterfield game?
