We cant keep sacking Managers/ coach’s.
Surely we have to back Clemence in the window to bring in the quality we need. I am still of the opinion that a goal scoring midfielder and a decent finisher up front would turn things around.

They absolutely must have experience and be leaders. Untried “they may be good” won’t cut it in a relegation scrap.

Panic button pressed for me.

A year ago, we’d won 7 on the bounce and went toe to toe with Stockport on an epic Boxing Day fixture at Holker Street.

Now we’re absolutely terrible. Toothless up top, rarely keeping clean sheets and every game seems like an uphill battle.

Tranmere away feels like we need a win, but will do well to get a point. Bradford at home, same again.

Sacking Pete Wild and replacing him with Stephen Clemence is turning out to be a disastrous decision.

This rot set in under Wild, we have largely the same group of players. Everything went downhill after that Boxing Day game you mention. Whichever way you look at things I think some perspective is required that we've been a bottom 7 or 8 side for nearly 12 months, under two different managers.

No good saying that better players should be brought in the window but who chooses them? Wood who hasn’t had much luck with recent signings and seems to be pulling everyone’s strings, or Clemence who can’t motivate anyone. Clemence definitely has to go before we are back in the National League.

We can’t keep asking Canute to hold back the tide either. We are currently drowning in rock pools the tide will soon engulf us if we are not careful. Difficult decisions with clear heads need making. The ship is sound but if we don’t fix the rudder the crew will mutiny.

1st- Farman rooted to the spot and indecisive. Bounce wrong footed him. Player could not believe it went in. Should he be coming for that ball?
2nd Weak defensive header attempt before the ball comes out to the edge of the box for the grass cutter. In fact I wouldn’t even call it an attempt. Our player never left the ground to get up for the ball.
3rd- Route one. Too easily brushed away to get to the ball on a one on one situation.

You can’t blame the coach for these goals.

So you think the coach and the backroom staff have been getting the best they can out of the squad available to them.

Sounded to me like some supporters have turned with the clemance out chants. Maybe 3 wins in 17 games ( one win against an u21 side )

Farman used to be one of the best keepers in the league before his injury. Is it that causing the problem or the coaching or a combination of the two?

The whole squad seems to be lacking in the confidence it started the season with. That’s down to two men Wood and Clemence. Get them out!

When was Wood appointed? This whole head coach thing was a risk to start with and it’s not paying of so surely go back and do what was working before. Something fundamental has changed

Is it just me or is there something missing between fans and players, we don't seem close anymore, when they enter the pitch before kick off hardly any of them clap the fans and when we score the odd goal the players celebrate with each other but never with the fans. Might be just me but there seems a big disconnection.

Lack of confidence which is understandable given results but it’s the lack of desire and doing the basics, competing, running, tackling. No one can stop you running but we don’t do enough to stop teams playing. The previously tight defence is now shipping soft goals more than ever and whilst injuries have hampered us, it can’t be put down as the sole reason for our struggles.

Summer recruitment was poor and in parting company with wild and appointing Clemence we lost a month. We resigned Feeley and Foley who should be squad players but we seem to be picking each week when they’re fit. White was rightly let go at the time mist on here would say, but we didn’t replace him. Our forwards weren’t up to it last year and then we lost the best two in Stockton and Whitfield. None of the ones brought in are anywhere near their level.

A half decent start where you always get a few odd results before things settle down,has helped to mask over the problems a bit. Recruitment in January is key. Spending short term could stave off relegation and disaster in the long term. Carlisle and Morecambe could save us but you wouldn’t bet on it, and both them and Accrington have beaten us which is no fluke. We’re a poor team. Bereft of confidence, creativity, goals and leadership.

Next three games are Tranmere, Bradford and Harrogate with two of them below us - 5 points minimum needed. Not sure another manager will get much more from this lot. If things don’t improve though then there may be no option but to change.

Yeah Spences "attempt " at the challenge was embarrassing but what a stupid free kick to giveaway!, we had no leader yesterday, Farman as captain is a joke he can't handle it and it throws his game after both opening goals he was blaming everyone but himself doesn't even hold his hand up in the post match interview and that is these players in a nutshell ffs admit and take some responsibility

So we sack Clemence and hope a new manager can polish a turd. One thing obviously clear and it started a year ago this team is not good enough and now heading for relegation. How do we stop this happening? first and foremost we need new players and quick, not easy to do but do they must. Wild couldn't stop the slide Clemence cant either and a new manager wont. Player recruitment is paramount in January or its relegation with this team.

Player recruitment? Can we trust anyone to do this ! Apart from Jackson and Vassell it's been a disaster I like young Neo but where's he gone ?,I'd rather have Kayote come on and show some desire rather that that chancer Kirk, I can’t for the life of me fathom out our transfer policy this Summer, we could see this coming but our management/ Board couldn't, frightening really!
