Carlisle have sold all tickets for Barrow match
632 Seating & 298 Standing, hopefully we get more home fans than Tuesday 2,647 should be looking for at least 3,500 but that Thursday night game going to be very difficult for some.

Give them the extra like we did for Derby county making it 1300 away fans. We won’t sell out anything between 4100 and 4500 total attendance is my estimate

Derby had 718 fans in a crowd of 3,003, Our home league fans average is 3,111, such a shame even on a Saturday we can`t attract 4,000 home fans, remember plenty saying I will support the Club if it ever got back in the league, not watching non-league rubbish, we need better support.

Agree the more of them we send home unhappy the better.

The biggest thing Carlisle have against them is expectations are rightly ever so high not just by the supporters but the investors too.

He means the final 2 home fixtures Bradford and Mansfield had a combined crowd of over 10k.

Hopefully….the hospitality crowd has obviously been affected judging by the sudden availability after the game was switched. The lack of competing attractions on a Thursday in terms of European telly football will help too.

Showing my age here but in the old days, midweeks always saw bumper crowds. Nowadays, the gaps in the stand and on the terraces around me compared to a Saturday are significant.

Yes in the old days midweek crowds were better than Saturdays. In those days though the shipyard never had shift patterns it was 7.30 until 4.30 and even a number of nightshift workers attended and got late pass ins. Add to that those that played football on a Saturday came to the Tuesday night games. Once again tv football coverage has a lot to answer for given the wall to wall coverage of European games and this season Sky now showing every midweek game from the EFL live.

Some magical games over the years, the Brentford and Oxford replay in more recent years spring to mind!
The atmospheres in them games are what makes football so brilliant.

Some magical games over the years, the Brentford and Oxford replay in more recent years spring to mind!
The atmospheres in them games are what makes football so brilliant.

And that game against Altrincham a bit further back in 1988 (was it the quarter finals?) in the FA Trophy where they had to delay the kick off until about 7-45. There must have been around six thousand in Holker Street that night.

Will make a big difference if we don’t lose the next two games as well. Either way surely we can get 3500 home fans in for this one when we’ve been getting around 3000 for most of the season anyway
