To be fair Whingy will be disappointed he didn’t react timely to the Cheltenham attacking subs. Those changed the game for Cheltenham whereas ours were sadly ineffective.

There was no defensive midfield cover on that bench. At 1-2 they’ve got their tails up and we’ve panicked. The subs - Acquah for Presley? What’s the thinking there?
Don’t know how many games this season we’ve blown winning positions but thats another one to the list. Feel for the travelling fans.

We just can’t seem to push on. That would have been a great win today but 17 minutes of madness in the second half has cost us. Full credit to Cheltenham for turning that around

Great start to the second half but once they scored you knew it would be a long half hour. We didn’t deal
With their sub Taylor whilst ours had little to no effect. Suspect defending for all three, particularly the second when Whitfield seemed to misjudge the ball but they were all soft goals. Highlights our frailties again and maybe a reality check again after the last couple of matches. Last season we’d have won that like the Crewe away game when it went 2-1 And we saw it out. This season we’re weak, physically and mentally. I’m sure Whing will learn a lot from that and maybe on his self too. Not sure taking Presley off when he did and then no changes at 2-2 was the right call as it was obvious Cheltenham were getting on top.

Aqua can't hold the ball up ! don't know why they keep taking Pressley off unless he's just not fit enough?
When Campbell plays we look fairly solid but surely Canavan should be dictating how the defence play but he always gets a free hit !

Agreed. 2 players who should always be in the team when fit but, I assume, Campbell wasn't.
None of the back 3 today have pace and Vassell does so he should always be one of the central defenders.
Campbell doesn't give away possession which would have been very useful in the second half today.
However, at least the game was entertaining and, as opposed to most of our away matches, we did look as though we might be able to score a goal.
Can't understand why Pressley and Whitfield were taken off as both were playing well.
In Whitfield's case it could be that he was feeling an injury but Pressley was winning lots of battles in the air.

Games are never won at 2-0 did you except Cheltenham to say game over, just glad we won the last 2 home games and still 11pts above Morecambe, credit to Cheltenham who had better subs than us. Our home form hopefully will keep us up.

Did you fall asleep on Boxing Day last season and wake up in March?

Presley plays like his life depends on it and again today, he battled and ran.. won the aerial battles, held the ball up well and quite simply ran his socks off.
Perhaps would have put smith on alongside Presley and maybe taken someone else off.
Disappointed to loose but 16 games left? If we were bottom, I would be panicking but we're not. 3 more wind and we are safe for sure.

The game is won at two nil if you manage it correctly.

Our defence has been our weak point for most of this season and undid all.the good work of the forwards. To go from a 2-0 lead to a 3-2 defeat should never happen. Those defenders will have been briefed about which players to watch and basically switched off at the critical moments.Hopefully Andy Whing will make them watch the video and point out to them the mistakes they made and hopefully train it out of them before we play Crewe. It,s obvious to me that when we have three games in quick succession we ultimately lose at least one of them. That has to stop if we are to progress as a team in this league.Consistency is the only way this club will progress.

Sometimes easier said than done!
They were at home, they got a goal back and had the bit between their teeth. We saw a similar thing at HS on Tuesday, we watched us battle that bit more and we got what we deserved through the effort.
We could have and probably should have taken at least a point, we didn't. It's frustrating, it's disappointing but we are seeing a better team now than we did a few weeks back. Would rather us die trying than dying and not trying at all.. a good few games left, will imagine a top half finish for us.

I'm sorry but if you need to be told how to do BASIC defending then we're in trouble, but it's again the same story soft goals conceded!

I think the crowd plays a part, once the home team gets a goal back the crowd came to life, Dejavu of Doncaster away last season .

Plenty of teams have lost at 2-0 up even we have managed to win when 2 down, it happens just give the opposition some credit.
