The one thing that we could say was we had a good defence not on today's performance .

They.broke faster than us and our tackling was poor.
Farman stays on his line to much when balls are played through.
Aquah is poor and though I complained about Presley he gets involved with laying balls off.

I think we should stay up but if we do the likes of Aquah should be shown the door .

The manager was correct in what he did and said IMO. Both Pressley and Whitfield have not had a lot of game time in recent months so both are getting back up to full match fitness. It does not happen overnight and all games they have started its been evident after 60 -70 minutes they have run their course.
He also said we had been great for two games and sixty minutes the last 30 minutes we have come unstuck. Onwards to Crewe next weekend and after a weeks without a midweek game and a full weeks training I am sure we can come back better.

Aye as much as we enjoyed the last two results at home we also shouldn't be getting down in the dumps about this one, as frustrating as the manner of the loss was. 9 points from the 6 games Whing has been in charge, tick over at a similar rate for the remaining number of games and we will be safe with a fair few games to spare.

Acquha has the physic, the speed and ability to be a good player but he does not have a nasty streak in him. To put it bluntly he is to nice to be a centre forward. It's benn said before he is man of few words and that born out on the pitch. Ive never seen him get angry in a Barrow shirt be it that with an opposition player or a teammate or a referee. That's just how he is and that characteristic in him will hold him back.

Last season we’d have won that like the Crewe away game when it went 2-1 And we saw it out. This season we’re weak, physically and mentally.

Mahoney sadly is not a Barrow type player. We like players who run for lost causes tackle like tigers and give there all during every minute of the game. Mahoney has ability tons of it but he needs a stage to perform IMO. A carpet of a pitch and a team flying high full of confidence and he will turn it on and turn fullbacks inside out. We have seen flashes but that's all it's been flashes. Holker street isn't for him and I don't think he is an Andy Whing player either. Look at Whitfield and Pressley to see what Whing likes. I expect Mahoney to move on in the summer.

Been saying this for a while. Far too easily knocked off ball and looks for foul most of the time instead of doing anything with it. Really infuriates me
