we have sold out Harrogate as well the week after, I was simply trying to point out why it would be highly unlikely that we will get any more, and why a 'Carlisle supporting Asshole within Cumbria Police' would try and get the game rearranged..............jeezzzuss!!

Agree with you bluedevil the Carlisle support is brilliant and had you been offered more tickets would have sold all of them, just wish the Barrow public would support a Football League Club better.

Ultimately it’s all about evolution. We are still evolving as a league club after so long in the limelight. Hats off to Carlisle they have enjoyed their days in the sun. But now is a time to take stock rebuild and learn lessons along the way taken from experiences drawn from what has happened and hopefully push on but there are no guarantees for either side. Both need to keep evolving.

We wont give them anymore anyhow & out upturn in form & being a derby of sorts id expect closer to 4k home fans to rock up.

Cufc benefit more from Geography than us & seeing as they have played in the top 2 divisions previously has boosted their support over the decades while we were slumming it in the Glue leagues, So their previous successes means they have 3/4 of the county sown up support wise, the Borders, W Cumbria & Penrith & Kendal area's historically would go see them.
As Mark says above it takes years to slowly increase your support & their population is twice ours & they are a 1 team club.

Mike, could it not be argued that Carlisle have struggled to attract players of a suitable standard due to their location? They have recruited a lot of players recently who haven't performed for some reason and unfortunately for them they are now looking at back-to-back relegations and l doubt current or prospective players would relish non-league football on their CDs.

Maybe going 'hybrid' is the answer to their prayers?

Barrow are not flush with money, give Carlisle extra tickets take the money and move on. Would only make the atmosphere better for both players and fans. We have done it before so we can do it again.

No point in arguing it - Its a fact! Even Carlisle's partisan supporters in the radio Cumbria studios have admitted that fact, on many occasion.

Gap back down to 11 points, all the good work of the last two home games undone. Goal difference heavily in our favour so effectively 12 points. The GD bonus could well disappear once Carlisle and Morecambe put a few good results together!

Absolutely massive! Moved them from bottom to 24th, and they stayed 6 points adrift of safety.

Wouldn’t say it has all been undone.
Over the last three games we’ve gained three more points than Morecambe and five more than Carlisle.

Can't see us winning away at Crewe so "if" bottom few clubs pick up points the gap could be 8 points then we play Carlisle and what are the chances they beat us !!!!! We still have all the bottom clubs to play so picking up points esp against them is vital !

well, 'if' we don't beat Crewe and as you say, the bottom clubs pick up points, then I think its a case of planning for national league football next season because you can guarantee what's going to happen to us on thursday february 27th, especially after Gillingham have been blown away this coming saturday.
The collapse in the second half yesterday could well manifest again when panic sets in if the table gets down to around a three point cushion.
