You look at the young lad playing in goal for Carlisle he has come through the ranks at Carlisle he is a fan and is playing for pride. We have players training in Manchester no real connection to the town and no structure at the club to bring players through and that kind of passion.

Didn't think we were that bad but Carlisle are not a good team had a bad feeling about this. Plenty of games left

Dominated first half without being brilliant created but shots off target. Second half we tired they came into it more without worrying Farman. Breeze made some good saves for them second half and took crosses well.
Lost 0-1 but let’s face it we never beat Carlisle anyway KTF

Deserved a point? Put a shift in? On what planet do you reside??? Probably the worst Barrow AFC team l've seen in decades!

Gotts, Spence, Foley and Whitfield put a shift in. A lot of the rest either didn’t look arsed or were coasting. Smith is a decent player but had absolutely nothing on for him all game. Any half decent team would’ve put a minimum of 2 past Carlisle tonight as they looked horrendous and were only saved by our woeful finishing. Won’t be spending another penny this season on a team that (mostly) looks like it couldn’t care less.

Need a good clear out, a lot of these players been under 3 managers and not improved. Need to find some players can get into double figures for the season . Today was a poor game with Carlisle wanting it more. We had chances to get something but could not score

Foley brilliant, Aqua is totally useless surely he doesn't start another game as first choice!, him and Jackson missed 3 brilliant chances, whing set up the team wrong, we had no width so everything went through the middle, our passing was all over the place and at times our shape went all over the place,
Why whing didn't make at least 3 changes after 60 minutes baffled me he seems totally clueless at substitutions!
We miss Campbell, Vassell we haven't the squad to replace them and we could do with Duru for his pace.
That's 3 games in a row we've looked out of sorts can't wait for Whings assessment!

We ran out of steam and out of ideas. Carlisle are a terrible side but what does tell you about us. There’s no pattern to our play and the ball was in the air all the time and lumping it up to Acquah. Awful football. We have gone backwards this season. Not convinced with Whing either.

Absolute bottle jobs, we couldn’t take a point off the bottom side on our own patch. Subs were totally ineffective, left too late in the game and not enough made. Credit to Carlisle a very gutsy well deserved victory their fans were magnificent reminiscent of our away victory at Forest Green way back. I don’t know what goes on but no matter who’s in charge we can never shake off our ability to kick start other teams seasons. I can’t fault the guy’s efforts but we are sadly lacking quality and composure. Just hope those below don’t find any form. Never mind we’re sure to beat Accy and the Shrimps aren’t we!!!

As bad a two games as I’ve seen all season, I honestly expected more after last Saturday….its the hope that kills!
Hopefully Carlisle come up against better opposition than us in their remaining games (not hard, not hard at all) and they still get relegated. We have not got the hang of league football since our promotion, and there are no signs of any improvement on the horizon with players like Mahoney, Kirk, Garner, Telford etc etc, the list just goes on.
I seriously cannot wait for this (another) shite season to end.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Foley was immense until he ran out of steam Gotts worked tirelessly as did Spence.
We created some very good opportunities first half but couldn’t make them count. Mainly giving Breeze catching practice.
Thought there might have been a joke in there Mark!

Whing on sky sports saying how bad the referee was especially at the end with a blatant handball.... still doesn't paper over the cracks but he's really not happy, can imagine he's chucked a few waterbottles in that dressing room.

I’m sorry I’m not having this guy. Hit and hope football, unbalanced looking formation that he didn’t change, poor subs.
Also next season with a spine of Canavan and Williams is a big worry.

Whinges interview was even less convincing than the performance. Hard to come and outright criticise the players too much when he still needs them but, that performance was dreadful. Yes we had a few chances but it was hit and hope, no cohesion or real plan it seemed to me. He was claiming unlucky with the penalty not given at the end and their keeper playing well although in reality did he have a hard save to make? He moaned about time wasting too but we could be playing at midnight and still not have scored.

Just not good enough and I still say if we stay up it’s a miracle. Our form over the last 12 months as a whole has been horrendous.

Well if he was bothered WHY no changes surely try something different than do nothing, he seemed like a rabbit the headlights!
