Don't score can't win Carlisle just had enough in the game both keepers with little to do, Brilliant crowd tonight the Carlisle fans are something else but to get 3,283 home fans is incredible for a Thursday night so well done to both set of fans, wanted Barrow to win but let's be honest who is really surprised we lost, thankfully most of tonight's side won't be here next season.

Why whing didn't make at least 3 changes after 60 minutes baffled me he seems totally clueless at substitutions!
We miss Campbell, Vassell we haven't the squad to replace them and we could do with Duru for his pace.
That's 3 games in a row we've looked out of sorts can't wait for Whings assessment!
Just no desire, no passion.. feel sorry for the supporters who gave benefit of doubt and turned up tonight.

It was a derby, it wasn't a show n tell.. seriously miffed with the showing tonight, the worst Carlisle team in decades and yet again, they go home probably avoiding relegation and yet again we go home pished off cos we have a bunch who couldn't care less. Set up was wrong from the start, subs were FAR too late.. we may as well have given it to them on a plate!!!!!

Sorry but this fixture means a lot to majority of folks and all we ask for is a bit of bite.. if people are happy with that showing tonight, well you all best be looking forward to national league at best. Bring back players from yesteryear who came here and fought tooth n nail, bring back players who played with heart on sleeves, bring back players who went home 1 stone heavier due to stitches and bandages!!!

Can take a defeat but not like that..

Hard to come and outright criticise the players too much when he still needs them but, that performance was dreadful. Yes we had a few chances but it was hit and hope, no cohesion or real plan it seemed to me. He was claiming unlucky with the penalty not given at the end and their keeper playing well although in reality did he have a hard save to make? He moaned about time wasting too but we could be playing at midnight and still not have scored.

Just not good enough and I still say if we stay up it’s a miracle. Our form over the last 12 months as a whole has been horrendous.
Totally agree it's depressing watching this sometimes the ball must have been in the air more times than on the ground,Canavan was awful just booting it anywhere even Cameron did better than him !

I think we first lost the fight and then the game of football,
Can see that Hughes has changed things on the physical side for Carlisle.

As much as the football wasn’t pretty, Whing’s gameplan worked and we created numerous chances in the first 20 minutes, but we just don’t have the forwards to put them away.
Stockton apart, we seem to get forwards that offer very little. Did Presley even touch the ball when he came on?

Campbell was a massive loss and has been whenever we don’t have him in the squad, he brings everything that the team needed tonight. Carlisle were a very poor side and for 20 minutes you could see why they are where they are. But the goal changed the game and we crumbled.

The crowd was poor imo would have been nearer or just over 5000 on a Saturday. Hospitality wasn't sold out. Very few kids with parents there tonight as will have been watching it on tv with having school tomorrow. Thanks sky for knocking at least 800 off the gate.

Going to be a hard watch till the end of the season as it’s obvious Whing does not rate a lot of the squad and has to try and get a tune out of them. Be interesting in summer if he gets to pick the players to come in or end up with people available such as Kirk

Numerous chances????? All shots from outside the area. No cohesion, never won any 2nd balls all night

Didn’t want to listen to Whings interview. Hope he didn’t say we were unlucky and played well. He looks like a fighter but the team look like a night out on canal street in Manchester.

The 'new' Manager seemed to be one hell of a knee jerk reaction after Clemence left... who had done the research into him? He doesn't know his best starting 11, leaves making substitutions until it's too late or makes them when they aren't needed. Tonight it was far too late to affect the game. I wonder if 37 points will be enough to save us? We are paying top dollar to some of these players and not seeing a proper return.

Very harsh to be questioning or judging Whing on an overall basis, he's got to have a transfer window before any of that. There have been issues in games like the use of subs, but to already write him off is pure ridiculous to be honest.

Let's not forget the majority of this squad failed for half a season under Pete Wild who has so far been our best manager in this league and also failed for Clemence. It needs a massive overhaul in the summer and you can tell he knows it.

We are a poor side and I’m really not sure Whing can take us forward. We’ve gone backwards on the pitch this season. What the owners maker of this I don’t know but I worry about next season.
