Baffling it’s taken this long. When you look at the fixtures next month I’d be surprised if themselves and Morecambe aren’t the bottom 2 with a bit of a gap to whoever is 3rd bottom by the end of the month

I think that’s a pretty good shout actually HK. I get the impression that it’s Adkin’s himself that has walked away. Don’t think he was sacked which given Tranmere’s long standing descent towards the abyss is odd.

It’s pretty clear that Palios has had enough. He loves his club and won’t sell it the first guy that appears on his doorstep. But he cannot or will not sink any more money into Tranmere either.

He now has the added problem of hiring another manager - and who would really welcome that brief?.

There'll be plenty of out of work managers applying, itching to get back on the merry go round, regardless of circumstances. Whether it's anyone decent is another matter.

No agenda.....just a fact. We need to start scoring some goals and tomorrow night would be a very good time to start. I don't believe for one minute that real Barrow fans would rather be in Carlisle's position.

Thursday was painful, but things could be worse, Morecambe haven’t had a shot on target all game, (if anyone isn’t watching it, it’s a good antidote)1-0 down due to a deflection. Tutonda out for 2 games after a 10th yellow. Commentator for Morecambe keeps saying “we haven’t lost all season whilst we’ve been 1 up” (don’t know how that’s relevant to this game) kind of like saying “it’s always been sunny when I went on me holidays to Spain”

So that's the two probable favourites to go down needing a 10 and 12 point swing with 12 games remaining. It makes the "it'd be a miracle if we stay up" comments seem even more ridiculous despite recent form.

Without looking I'd say we are probably 100/1 to get relegated with most bookies.

If we had not lost already to both Morecambe and Accy we wouldn’t be looking over our shoulder now - even after generously donating 6 points to Carlisle.
