Born in Warwick 1954, moved to Barrow 1966 where my dear Mum was from, went to every game for a few seasons until I joined the Army in 1972. Heard about Barrow being kicked out just after finishing my training. Managed quite a few away games while stationed in Salisbury and Chester. Got the first visit to Wembley with no problems with a train from Salisbury, second Wembley visit flew from Belize (where I've been since 1994) to Heathrow via Atlanta on a Thursday arriving Friday, Wembley Saturday afternoon, few beers with my boys then flew back Sunday. Expensive weekend, but worth it. First thing whenever I open my phone or Lap Top is this forum, don't say much as I'm not there, being a Barrow fan ain't easy

Born in Barrow now living in Blackpool.

My first game would have been in the mid 1970s as a kid, when we lived on Laburnum Crescent. We park over there on matchdays. I always like to look at the reservoir, I wrote a piece about the rezza and soccer that was published in a book.

Born in ulverston started going in the late 60s.have followed them ever since.now live in kilmarnock but still comute to most home games and a few away.mother still lives in ulverston so get home regularly.

Born in Barrow (Risedale). Brought up in Ulverston. Still live in Ulverston now.
Think first game was in 1982 - possibly a 10th Birthday present with a few friends - against Bath City.
Season ticket holder on Popular Side and go to most games with my Son who I’ve inflicted the bug on to. Probably do 5 - 10 away games each season as well.

Born in Barrow in1952 now living in York via Hereford, yes l know quite ironic. I never went to watch either of the two teams except when they played Barrow. Now try to attend as many games as possible but not easy with a limited income. It's now a two and half hour jouney each way but its worth to see the Bluebirds.
First game would be in 1963 l think watching such stars as George Darwin, Yogi Caine, Tommy Carhil and Ernie Ackerley. Watching Barrow has been a long and at ttimes painful journey at times, but that's what we do. The immense sense of joy and happiness when we regained our league status can not be expressed, it brought tears of joy and relief, a brilliant moment.

Born and bred Barrovian, but now living in Canada. Not by design, but ended up living in a town over here named after a boat built in Barrow!

Early memories of Holker street include the Enfield semi final and South Liverpool and the non-league greats of Cowps, Jabba and a mustachioed Andy Whittaker.

Don’t get to Holker St much these days in person, but still follow the Bluebirds in every day of life (usually on here). My daughter has a rotation of Barrow shirts she wears to school regularly, so not Barrow born but still an avid Bluebird.

We have even introduced many ex-pat Newfies living locally to us to the club as they are intrigued about the sponsorship when this seasons shirts are on display.

Born in Barrow in 1952. Brought up in Hindpool so handy for the 'soccer'. The first game I can remember was in 1963 against Oxford (Big Ron Atkinson et al). I think it was their football league debut season?
I now live in Leyland. I'm a season ticket holder and travel through for most of the home games.

Started watching the club aged 11 when a friend bought me to the Marine game in the 1997/98 season.

Became a ball boy that very next game and was hooked.
I’ve been a ball boy, supervised the ball boys and even had a go at being a steward (lasted one game and it wasn’t for me as I enjoy watching the game too much)

And now get to mix following the club I love by doing the job I love

Born in Barrow, brought up in Hindpool (Duncan Street) Marsh's Sass factory bottom of street, first stated going about 1961. Remember queuing to get tickets for Southampton and Leicester City matches also being on the pitch when we won promotion to the old 3rd division I think the game was against Brentford. The Barrow Boot Boys when the police would take your Doc Martin's off you or take your laces out and drop you off on Walney and make you walk back to collect your boots. Fred Else, Jim Mulvaney, Brian Arrowsmith, Cowps, Proctor, Rooney all great players, the small shop at the corner of the Holker End and not forgetting our fantastic toilets in the ground a wall with a trough.

Born in Risedale maternity hospital in 1959. Raised in Oxford Street and then Kendal Street. Went to school at the Victorias and then BGS. Then headed off to Manchester and then via Chelmsford, Colchester and Basildon (oh yes) to London. Dallied with Hong Kong for a while. But then spent many years working in the City with a period in Lytham where I got married. Then moved to darkest Suffolk with job where I’ve been for 30 years. Retained my mum’s old bungalow in Warton (Lancs) for whenever I need to watch a home game. But don’t tell the wife that.

My dad was a friend and colleague of Wilf Livingstone.Dragged me along to my first game in 64 -a 0-5 defeat to Millwall. Infected ever since. Was a ball- boy in 70-71 and 71-72. Stories of where I’ve been to watch BAFC and the experiences I’ve had over 60 years would fill a book that no-one would read.

Born and bred Barrow, I left the town when I was 16 years old. I lived in Carlisle for a while before moving to Cleveleys on the Fylde coast. I’ve been here ever since.
When people ask me where do you come from I still say Barrow. I live in Cleveleys but I’m from Barrow. I’m a Barrovian and always will be.
My first visit to Holker Street was in 1978 when Greengate Utd played a Man United XI. I started going to watch Barrow when Vic Halom was the manager. I’ve no idea what my first game was but I’ve got fond memories of sitting in the old wooden stand.
I used to get to more games in the 1990’s then what I do now but I still get to half a dozen or so games each season.
