Good luck to him wherever he goes. I’d like to see him stay he’s had a tough season with a few injuries but to me always gives his all does a lot of running, gets stuck in, is tidy on the ball and pops up with the odd goal from midfield. Not sure about league 1 he might end up the same way as Whitfield did but definitely a very good league 2 player.

Does the cycle of players in contract until 2026 just carry on?

Touché. Is there one cycle or are there multiples? Do these cycles really exist or are they just a convenient way of explaining why you’ve put all your decent eggs in one basket at a particular point in time?
