Really like this comment.All that aside though,how well did our players control the game with their counter attacks which resulted in goals,something we have been crying out for all season.

Andy Whing has taken a group of players who couldn,t score and turned them into a side which is hard to beat.He didn,t even pick most of these players but somehow he has got them playing as a unit no matter who he brings on.

I am really looking forward to next season if this is what he can do with a makeshift team.

Not sure about the three midfielders. As much as I like all three of them, no one is irreplaceable and we have to get better. They’re probably going to leave - I’m optimistic we can improve in that area .

Thought this was a winnable game and so it turned out be. Let’s not beat about the bush. MK showed all the signs of a.squad bereft of leadership, inspiration or commitment.

Their front three looked a serious threat when ever they got the ball but MKs build up was slow, pedestrian and most of their movement was sideways. Stanway was brilliant. Definitely MOTM for me. He has lots of idiosyncrasies but his reactions are razor sharp.

Three great moves for the goals. The four substitutions refreshed the forward line. On paper MK had the better players. On the pitch as a unit they were outclassed.

Looking forward to Walsall next week. Well done Andy Whing. We are definitely on an upward curve.
