Let’s finish the season on a high, will be a shame to lose our two closest derbies but looks like that’s what going to happen. Having just watched the extended highlights the work from Pressley for our second goal is admirable. He initially wins the ball back on the edge of his own penalty area and starts the move off for his second goal.

Fantastic win yesterday in a strange type of game! Dons had lots of possession and Stanway was by far the busiest of the two keepers but we looked very dangerous every time we broke.
We are now starting to look very confident again, mixing playing it out from the back, through midfield, then looking long up to Pressley.
Mahoney is looking more interested and Fletcher showed promise, Foley looking a revelation at right/centre back. Pity the games are running out.

I do wonder if Andy Whing’s view on his squad next season is already being tested by the likes of Pressley, Smith or Whitfield. These are all players on loan but whom may end up leaving their clubs in the summer. Not all natural Whing types maybe but all currently blooming under his management in the spring sunshine.

They all looked genuinely happy on the pitch currently too in total contrast to a miserable and depressed MK. The added energy resulting from that 4 man substitution yesterday just ripped the momentum away from MK. Good stuff.

Funny to reflect that 6 years ago the thought of beating MK Dons 3-0 away would have been enough to get you certified (they were League 1 and we were in our first Evatt season). Go back 10 years and it looks even less likely.
Our goals were excellent yesterday, very similar to those we got at Wimbledon - quick breaks from within our own half, great movement, great passing and finishing.

Great day yesterday the best stadium in league by far we did what we had to do stanway was unbelievable and good for pressley to get among the goals he does work his socks off so deserved in my opinion good to see the banbury fans there cheering whingy and the team top lads

They have a first class 30k stadium that wouldn't look out of place in the premier league, they have teams at all levels, training facilities we could only dream of, 30+ staff supporting the footballing side and is listed as a business with over 100 employees,

We couldn't be further apart in terms of resources and facilities.
