Not a lot that I noticed but he never came that near the away end. Harrison Neal was booed when subbed, but then so were their other departing players.

Possibly a measure of how much we've improved in the past couple of months that people can be so sniffy about a good away point at a team just above us in the table.

Agreed and if the lob by Jackson had gone in off the bar it would have been a goal worthy of winning any game.

Does anyone know who would have gone in nets if something had happened to Will Stanway, given Rory Feely has moved on.

It was a slightly bashful wave from the half way line after we had applauded our players, then he got a chorus of “wild wild wild”.

Not a memorable game, but probably to be expected at this stage of the season - we have been lucky that we played so well in our last few matches. However, we have now only lost 1 in 10, unbeaten away in 6, and another clean sheet, so not too bad. Would have taken a 0-0 at Fleetwood either side of Christmas.
On the question of how many goalless draws we have had this season, as someone pointed out above, that was our first. A couple of weeks ago I saw a stat that said we were one of only five teams in all four divisions that had not had a goalless draw all season (I think one of the others was Liverpool?).

As always, Andy Whing’s post-match assessment was spot on. He told the players at half time that fans had paid good money to get to the match so they needed to up their game.

I think he was just gauging what reaction he would get and when it was positive he clapped more and so did Temple. His kids were there and he was clearly getting them to look at the clapping supporters. It was nice all round.

At the end of the day almost all of us are not privy to what went on with him and the board but he did a good job as manager for us! just a shame about the end of season form otherwise it would have been a great job. I imagine almost all of us would have expected him to have been managing us at the start of the season.

Does anyone know when we last had a 0-0 draw in the league. I can't remember one this season, partly because we were conceding regularly after our flying start where we were scoring goals.

Edit - I've tried to find out myself, is it home against Harrogate over a year ago?

We had a few under Wild last season. Perhaps its the Wild effect! Drew 0-0 with Wimbledon & Salford as well as well as Harrogate which was the last 0-0 interesting they were all at home. Our last 0-0 away draw was at Swindon April 2023.

The rain didn't help, both in terms of the atmosphere and probably the quality of the football, but I really didn't think the second half was that bad though by then a lot of people had probably got fed up. It's ironic that people spent most of the middle of the season complaining that we leaked goals and aren't happy when we keep a clean sheet away. Each to their own but why leave 20 minutes early when there were chances and the result was still in the balance.

Agreed re Pressley, he was off balance and it came to him very quickly.

I'm surprised how many people are saying it was boring/drab/whatever. I've seen far worse. We played some good stuff and looked the most likely winners.
