Who knows the recent relegation of Carlisle from the EFL may have a positive effective on Barrow.
Many of them nearer to Barrow(,the only EFL club in this part of the world) may suddenly decide to switch allegiances and start supporting Barrow due to the fact that they are totally fed up with the way the club is being run.
If they carry on complaining about their benefactor owners they in turn may walk away which would only inflict more damage on their club and bring more supporters on our direction.After all there is now only one place to watch proper football.
Here's hoping.

Interesting listen on the Carlisle social, Simpson would have kept them up, Williamson was the downfall.

Philips with an almost Kevin Keegan esk moment, on about Twitter stuff, Carlisle gave it plenty over time on their social feed, then we put “The only EFL club in Cumbria” the comment on the social was something like:-

“Barrow were irked when Carlisle did it, after they first came into the league, but I think that’s pretty poor from Barrow, coz they were really bothered by Carlisle doing that, and the second it’s changed, they have done it!”

Personally think he’s looking into it to deep, it’s just a bit of “back n forth” rather than rubbing peoples noses in it.

I know of people in Penrith who watched Carlisle week in week out. As soon as Barrow re-entered the EFL they started watching Carlisle when they were at home and Barrow when at home, fixtures allowing.
There are people in Kendal that go to watch Carlisle regularly. I think it will depend on how Carlisle are doing in the National before they would consider watching us. And of course there are now the people between Barrow and Morecambe to throw into the mix as well now that the Shrimps are relegated.

I have just listened to Carlisle's podcast and realised that the deadly combination of Arrogance and stupidity-always comes back to bite you on the arse.

I always got the impression that it really hurt the anchor at Radio Cumbria the day Barrow got back into the football league. Having said that, I think Lumsden is fairly level headed, whereas Phillips always takes the bait and reacts.

Personally I think it’s rather sad,that individuals come on here,celebrating the events at Carlisle,an achievement for my team,Barrow,is finishing above them ,not seeing them relegated.I still have fond memories watching them play Chelsea,late 70s I think,we were in the town having played against a skool from there.and we were treated to the big match afterwards. Great club, fantastic support,and I’m sure they will return soon.
As for JP, guess he’s marmite to some,personally I like his passion and enthusiasm.
