Would be cautious giving Carlisle too much stick. Going to be a big pre season for us and have to get recruitment correct otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised if we were swapping leagues this time next year! Morecambe on the other hand I fear for, think you could see them dropping through the divisions.

Good grief!
We’ve just had two months of several forum users telling us about the certainty of Carlisle staying up.
Now it looks like we are going to be subjected to endless posts about them winning the Conference.

Exactly who cares.
But then you get slated for not wanting endless scum Carlisle talk on her.
Think some should defect to their forum

Yes, I think Carlisle United will walk the National League next season.

We didn't need to. I'd be more than happy with 7th place and winning the playoffs. Something tells me it may take a little longer this time.

Well as dull as it may sound, we deserved to get relegated!! There is absolutely no excuses for some of the performances this season, and I personally have no beef with Barrow fans about giving it 'large'. Over the season you were better than us and got more points than us!! Some of those games we were an absolute embarrassment !!
We will be back....hopefully, sooner rather than later, but those overpaid [SwearFilter]'s are going to have to pull their fingers out sharply, because this National League is not for the faint hearted.
Anyway the fans haven't give up, at least not yet anyhow, over 6,000 tickets sold tomorrow for what is, (for us anyway) a meaningless friendly.
We'll meet again....................I'm sure.
All the best

With Carlisles budget they should come back up; but what on earth makes you think we’ll go down?

Hopefully you will manage to get out of the National League at your first attempt. At least you have a backer with deep pockets who I am sure will do his best to make it happen by restructuring the way your club has been run regarding recruitment.

When Barrow got relegated we had very little money and it was only with the good will of a lot of the players supporters and management that we managed to survive.
The National League is a tough league with a lot of travelling involved but your loyal fans will follow Carlisle wherever they play.
I just wish some of our supporters were more magnanimous towards your club in spite of the remarks made by a certain Radio Cumbria reporter regarding Barrow AFC.
Looking forward to recommending our friendly rivalry next season.

To whom are you recommending it, the Hartlepool supporters?

Don’t think we will go down but with the players that most likely will be off it’s going to be a big season of transition, you never know.

Carlisle will comfortably make the play offs next season imo and I wouldn't rule out them doing what Chesterfield did the season before last and winning the league comfortably. For me the National League lacks strength in depth. TheY have around 10 clubs who who can compete but the rest is pretty poor IMO
Its not as strong as it once was and financially I doubt any other side in the National League will be able to compete with them
