We all knew deep in our hearts that robbie was destined for a higher grade of football he gave us 4 great years of tenacious football and all we can say is go on robbie smash it mate you deserve it

Agree - Robbie has grown during his tenure at Barrow and he worked and played very well for us. He deserves good wishes and positive thoughts in his move and his future. Thank you Robbie.

Not surprising at all, given the rumours that have been circulating. Nevertheless, thanks and appreciation to Robbie for being the ultimate pro during his time with his. If there was a performance somewhere down the line that you might criticise it was never once the case that you could criticise his attitude which was 100% every time.

I can sort of understand the comment by Henney's Knee when referring to a "recency bias at play". It's because Robbie has been particularly good this last season just finished that one might think he's just been having a good spell of form (and form is something that can fall away again)! But, the way I see it, my interpretation would be that Robbie hasn't simply been having "a good spell" recently, but that the reason he is better now than when he first played for us is because he is maturing into a better player and approaching his prime years. Doncaster are fortunate to be getting him as he moves into his best years. A massive loss for us.

Well when anyone asks who I support and then they say Liverpool , Manchester I say why not watch Marine or Mosley or Bury.
Ironically the Neville's do not invest with Bury with all the family connections think both parents worked there

People saying we'll replace Robbie you won't, you'll get someone else but Robbie is like Kenny Lowe, Cowps, I could go on yes all different types of player's but they're all one offs !
It's only when they leave you realise how good they were !

He was not a Kenny Lowe or Cowps IMO. They were and always will be remembered as great players.
Robbie was a good player for us who excelled and improved his game with us. He added that upper body strength this season that he lacked as he did have a tendency to be easily pushed off the ball..
Doncaster are getting a player that has learnt his craft with us and should be coming into his prime. We have had players similar to Robbie in the past the likes of Lewis Hardcastle, Steve Houcham and doubtless a few others. It's Andy Whing and Iaun Woods Job now to bring in replacements that can do a job for us. They will have known for a while Gots was going to be away and im sure they have a list of targets that they have identified as replacements. KTF In Whing and Wood we trust.
